He said he will have to see if my insurance would cover it if I was diagnosed. Also told me they usually deny the first time but we could try again in 6 months if they did and likely if kept trying they would sign off. They did not deny and now I’m on 5 mgs of adderall, I wanted a script since I been abusing a 30 mg one cut in half on the weekends. I see him again after a year and will see if I can get them to up it since the 5 mg does barely anything for me. Since I only do it weekends I just take 2-3 twice a week so I even have a bit left when it comes to refill time.

Yeah, that sounds about right... a bit more involved than 'going to a mental health clinic and filling in some tests/forms'.
