It's actually really good, save for some of the design choices for loading roms and such. Retroarch can use it as a core so you don't have to deal with a fake-dead troon's gui.

But you have to deal with Retroarch's console peasant GUI. I used BSNES, albeit the HD Mode 7 fork and the GUI didn't seem to be much different from other Windows emulators. Not as ideal as Mesen or Mesen S GUI, but still.

Retroarch has a PC gui of a sort now...press f5 and it will start.

It was recommended to me in the days when I was still insisting on ZSNES even though it was no longer necessary for some patches to work. But I ended up with SNES9x instead.

So essentially Retroarch is just a bunch of already existing emulators inside another program? I'll just stick to the old way thnx.
