Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

I have a question for all you covid believers, mostly for people claiming they have or had covid, are there any symptoms that you can say are ONLY from covid? And if yes have you tried putting that symptom you think is from covid on a medical database to see what the causes of that can be?

The reason Im asking this is because I had the flu last year, and most symptoms they claim are covid I had in the past years for other deseases (including taste and smell loss, weakness, fever, cough). One of the few things I did not have is pneumonia, but I know most people have had that before.

So we had another 50 odd cases today and the chairman of the ruling party has announced that, and it breaks his heart to say this. he will have to consider moar restrictions and an even harder lockdown to bring the dreaded Delta under control.

Currently we're under a curfew from 9PM to 5AM. You may not go outside after 9PM for any reason apart from essential work and emergency medical care. We can only go exercise for 2 hours a day by ourselves, we have to wear masks at all times, playgrounds and skate parks have been closed with police patrols fining parents who let their little ones play. All the schools are closed, all the shops are closed except the big grocery chains. People must work from home and if you have to go to work you must carry a work permit with you to prove you are essential worker. So I'm left wondering how the fuck the lockdown could possibly be stricter? I guess we'll find out.

Meantime in New South Wales the coof has become endemic with 6-700 cases per day. They've just announced their own curfew limited to the west of Sydney. The police have been granted even more powers allowing them to arrest and detain anyone they feel like on the grounds that they suspect you may be in breach of a public health order. Up to now if you were caught outside the 5km limit from your home you were either moved along or you were issued a fine and moved along. The changes mean the cops will instead arrest you on the spot, escort you back to your home or detain/imprison you, with no need to go through the court system. They will also be bringing in Covid passports, the first government in Australia to make that official. Just so you understand New South Wales is considered to be the most liberal part of Australia when it comes to lockdowns.

Over half the population is vaccinated with only a handful of deaths reported from the current outbreak with many of them obviously having nothing to do with the bug. For example a Covid positive teenager died of bacterial meningitis a few days ago and we had a day of media sperg outs that the virus 'is now attacking young people'.

Honestly fuck this country. I don;t care what punishments they bring in to make me get the jab, I'm not getting it. Even if it was safe and it did stop infection I still wouldn't get it because fuck them.

Australia began as a prison colony, only makes sense their reaction to COVID is to place everyone under house arrest. God help you if it goes past the AFL Grand Final.

Those governors doing crocodile tears. "I'm sorry to say this. I really am. *sob* But you people weren't behaving well enough, so it pains me to say that we have to go back into lockdown again." You're not sorry at all. If you were, you wouldn't be blaming the public for your mandates. I hate them all. The government is treating me like a child.
Anything to keep their hold on the throne. And not look like DeSantis. And in the places where the lockdowns are coming back, the constituents see the lockdowns as necessary and the unvaccinated as undesirables that need to be purged.

I think some redpilling is in order. In Minecraft of course.

The people who thought they could just wear masks for a year and a half and get two shots for their freedom back need to get yelled at and lambasted as antivaxxers for thinking they can ever get their freedom back that way so that they wake up.

I got my parental units to run their stats through that Oxford Covid Calculator. Out of people in my mom's age/health bracket, 1/5000 will die of Covid. In my age/health bracket it's 1/200000. So, like, I guess when we hear the "30-something healthy person dies of Covid" headline, it's that poor 1/200000th dude... Point being, it can happen but the odds are astronomically low.

It's funny...I live in Queensland in Straya and share the border with NSW which is a complete mess at the moment. In 1 hour, we don't have to wear masks anymore, we can have big gatherings and lots of other stuff, whilst our friends on the other side of the border are in lockdown until at least September with curfews, minimal shops open etc., entertainment is just looking at each other in their houses/units. However, this sense of 'ease' that restrictions are coming to an end for us in Qld - it is like 'Yeah, we can do all this stuff like go to the beach, go clubbing, go out for dinner, movies, dirt bike riding, camping, have a bbq all the stuff we should all be able to do.'

but, instead, there is an inbuilt fear that any minute it can be taken away from us. Like, the scary thing is that it has become so 'normalised' to stay 1.5m from each other and even going to the cinemas not sitting next to a stranger, or going camping where there are no people around 'just in case...ya never know'. This new awareness of our physical proximity to others and an underlying sense of doom that the media has done such a good job of making us feel 'lucky' that we survived this time, but be ready for the next time. This is scary that our cognitive processes, or schemas, have developed this new Covid awareness that keeps us living on eggshells. This is probably just a ramble...and sorry for the vent...but, I wonder how long until we see suicide rates starting to spike due to this.

australia is fucking weird. most of the australians i know online (even ones in victoria and nsw) say this stuff isn't getting enforced at all but then a few like the one a couple pages back say they've been in rock solid lockdown even when there wasn't news of one

It blows my fucking mind, that a single case brought into our capital territory instantly forced a weeklong lockdown with the rest of nsw following suit.

Slight PL but:
We have had mandatory 'happy go fun' Teams meetings and when I'm asked how I'm doing I have defaulted to saying 'I would rather catch covid and die'. I know it sounds very 'and then everyone applauded' but the only countermeasure I've found to dealing with these people is to use their covid fear against them a la malicious compliance.
What's that? I skipped a meeting? Whoops I was out on my 1 hr Government Allocated Free Range Grazing time, sun is good for defending against COVID!!!! or Sorry I needed a mental health break uWu so many new cases i had a panic attack!11!1!

normally I don't resort to this giga faggotry but its the only way I can stay sane atm. Apologies for the rant and thank you all for making me feel like I'm not going crazy.

I love my sunburnt country, it is the best place in the world to me. I feel like I'm watching it be destroyed while everyone around me assures me that I'm overreacting.

I love our little penal colony as well. We used to be such a nation of ‘Fuck you, Get Fucked. Fuck Off.’ But, I dunno, this covid is mass assimilation and identity theft. Will we ever just be ‘Aussie’s’ ever again? We look like dickheads to the rest of the world. I don’t want to be known as an Aussie dickhead thanks to our ‘leaders’

The latest propaganda google wanted me to read. Btw I don't live in Wisconsin, their news algo sucks.

COVID-19 in Wisconsin: DHS compares vaccinated to unvaccinated case numbers
Don't bother reading, it's just a long winded way of saying in July more filthy unvaxxed were hospitalized & died compared to the sanctified vaccinated.
View attachment 2460280
Of course not once in the article is it mentioned if there was a recent change to the frequency of how either group is tested. Plenty of articles and first hand accounts floating around of hospitals refusing to test the vaccinated for covid unless they are symptomatic, while any unvaxxed filth are tested regardless. It's not like other countries that don't have this retarded policy aren't showing completely different data, often unfavorable to the vaccine lobby, nope pure cohencidence. /facepalm
But how many were unvaccinated vs. partially vaccinated? They are acting like getting 1 shot is the equivalent of getting 0 shots. You still ought to be able to see some benefit after the first shot. It's kind of shady to lump those categories together.

One of my relatives who works in an hospital has confirmed this to me, people with 1 shot are put into covid areas and declared not vaccinated. This hoax is a never ending one, just by changing definitions and numbers they can make any shit up.
Of course this is used as "the noposionshots conspiracy theorists are all dying!", it must be a clown world symptom to take the shot, end up in hospital and be hated by the staff because you are anti science.

I want to see the Australian prison system (yes I know your whole island is a prison but still) collapse under the stress of people fighting for their freedoms. Come on Ausfailia, abandon the pretext of being a democracy and remember to put dreaded misinformation behind the Great Internet Barrier Reef.

My country has just implemented digital COVID passes and EU ratified its' equivalence to their own solutions. COVID passes aren't going anywhere.

By the way, in three days, we'll become the only country in the world (so far) to recognize a digital ID as equivalent to a physical one. You guys may hear about similar drives soon, this is too good of an opportunity to pass up.

The Covid "passport" in Australia is a certificate you can download from the government's Medicare app. It's laughably easy to forge one, the only security is a watermark which can be copied if you get hold of someones original and save it as a printable PDF file (photocopiers are programmed not to copy the watermark if you scan it, like money). Hit edit on the Adobe pro suite and away you go. Not saying I've done that or would encourage others to do that, I'm just saying if you wanted to you could. They're already talking about making it electronic, which I'm sure will be totally non hackable, the government being so great at IT and all. Whatever, I don't fucking care I'm not getting the jab, if they make my life a living hell unless I do then I'll deal with that as best I can. The problem governments will face in the coming year is how to get their populations to take the boosters. This isn't even on the radar for normies here but I know it other countries even Covidians are balking at the prospect of being jabbed every 6 months for the rest of their natural lives.

Some of the protest organisers and agitators have cops camped outside their houses 24/7. They're being tailed and harassed constantly. ISIS terrorists don't have this level of surveillance.

They want a total commitment to the vaccine program. It's got nothing to do with how many shots you've had, your 'privileges' to function as a normal human being, to travel, to visit a restaurant, fuck even to buy food, will be 100% conditional on you accepting the clot shot injection schedule which will never end. There will come a point for everyone when they say enough, no more jabs. I think it's best not to even start rather than wait until your 7th or 8th injection and having a fucked up immune system.

Sad that our own leaders destroyed their own credibility in this way. I'm by no means an antivaxxer, vaccines clearly work and work well, the results speak for themselves. However after the past 20 years of every single institution in western countries being infiltrated by Marxists and used to gaslight the respective populations of their countries I don't see any reason why I should believe them no matter how hard they scream about the jab. The same people who think there was absolutely nothing sus about Bidens election are now telling me the COVID vaccine is perfectly safe despite the fact Moderna didn't have a single vaccine that managed to get through trials before COVID? Yeah get fucked.

The "experts" are a proven bunch of frauds and liars who will happily deceive for political gain and have demonstrated that countless times over the past decade. I'm not going to turn my brain off and trust the same people who see tranny culture and try to convince people it's a good thing, especially not with regards to an experimental vaccine with unknown long term effects. Why the fuck people are suddenly trusting the pharmaceutical industry completely when they have a history of pushing shit like Rofecoxib KNOWING that it's killing people with side effects like heart attacks.

The COVID vaccine might be 100% safe. But I simply see no reason to put my life in the hands of frauds, charlatans and liars who don't have my interests at heart.

Dear Yahoo. A whole lot of moderate Republicans think Asa is a giant pussy. But he's pro-mandate, so the MSM must suck his dick.

I never heard of that before. So I put in certain stats "of a friend" who's a giant fat fuck with a history of childhood asthma, and "his" risk of death was 1 in nearly 20,000 still. Even risk of hospital admission was 1 in 600.

Generally, the staffing issues in health care have already happened because they've essentially gotten rid of temporary staff. I would expect that the mandatory jab would be coupled with a return for temporary staff to try to make it look good.

What are temporary staff? They generally fill casual/on-call positions based on demand and might have a regular shift somewhere else, however governments have created guidelines where you're not supposed to work in multiple areas.
Lol no, prn staff are few and far between. Even before the pandemic there was major staffing issues. Prn staff are liable to pick up 4-8 hours a week, and you're lucky if you have more then 2 or 3 to call up when you have vacancies. Very few people are going to work full time at one health care job, then pick up multiple shifts a week at another. Yes some people were affected by the restrictions on working in multiple facilities, however most were not and those who were by no means could make up a shortage of staff a vaccine mandate would cause.

Good news everyone!

Joining the Aussie reacts bandwagon to say i don't see a way out of this that doesn't involve rioting. I'm too well off to risk that so hopefully the poors are pissed off enough to make it happen. Thankfully if worst comes to worst Aussie house prices mean I can afford a nice mansion in Texas or Florida, although I guess I need to budget for American health insurance
