That's the endgame, to turn Americans into cattle so that ruling class could just sit on their ass and milk their citizens the way China does. This is ultimately the reason why they're propping up self-hating ideology to divide people, to make them give up the idea of America as we know it. The idea of freedom and self-determination at its core.
Freedom will be extinguished under the guise of "fighting domestic terrorism" and security in general, like all the COVID bullshit. And masses seem all too willing to give up their God given rights for the promise of safety.

America's government is America's worst enemy. It's corrupt beyond anything I could've imagined just couple years ago. If things don't change drastically soon, you're all fucked. Federal government will have all the guns and you'll have none, which is just a simplistic way of saying that you will be powerless.

Leaving Afghanistan in such a fashion is either a sign of sheer incompetence or downright malice. It should be humiliating for Americans regardless, just based on the consequences. America's influence on the world stage keeps diminishing, and it's not a good thing. Because someone else is going to fill that void, and it's likely to be China.

All the wankers moaning about "but muh peace" should understand one thing. Projecting strength in the world is how you keep evil cowering, it's how you keep peace. Presence of US forces in Afghanistan was useful to that end.
It could've been done better, of course, but as usual bureaucrats perverted it, turning it into a scheme to enrich themselves and their friends. All the nation building bullshit was merely a ploy to funnel taxpayer money into MIC and politicians' pockets.
Again, to all the hippies out there, going to Afghanistan wasn't a bad idea. Someone has to make sure that local goatfuckers don't get any wrong ideas. Because muslim expansion is a legitimate threat. The problem was execution, the problem is politicians.

The American people are the easiest population on the planet to govern. Keep them fed, don't embarass them on the global stage and leave them the fuck alone. Do that and they will pay their taxes, obey the speed limit even on winding country roads and generally not cause any trouble.

But in 2020 the third rule was broken. The government stopped leaving us alone. It shut down our businesses. It slapped masks on our faces, and started forcing us to undergo experimental medical procedures.

Fine. All for the greater good. But now in 2021 they have continued to break the third rule and they have now broken the second. We have been humiliated. We have for the first time in our history been soundly defeated in a war, and THOUSANDS of our fellow countrymen are at the mercy of our enemies. With the only thing standing between them and death is the mewling threat of strongly worded letters by our inept government.

The only thing holding America together now is the 1st rule. Here is hoping the economy can keep on chugging for another year.

I don't buy that. With or without the U.S the ME would still have various groups and ethnicities all hating and killing each other.

Afghanistan has been in constant civil war conflicts since 1989 (1979 if you include the USSR war), with different governments and rebel groups, not just the Taliban. The U.S didn't arrive until 2001. I just don't see how in this particular case, the U.S would be the "bad guys". I don't remember any big controversies like Iraq or Vietnam. Outside of the way the leaving was handled completely terribly, it's more on the Afghan Government themselves being incompetent.

All in all, that place fucking sucks.

I'm a fairly capable woman myself but in no way am I deluded enough to think I can do the same things a man can. Its not physically possible (without massive amounts of drugs) and in some cases not mentally possible either. I've seen the neo confederate propaganda hand in hand with the Taliban meme. It's not that those people like the Taliban, it's that they despise the Federal Government so much at this point they actively cheer for its failures. This is extending towards our cultural exercises too. You had a sizable percentage of the population rooting against the US Olympic team for similar reasons.

This is a disaster. People are freaking out about how China is going to view our inept defense department and AWOL president. I am less worried about how China will view this and more worried about how Texas, South Dakota and Florida are going to view it. The current federal administration has beclowned itself on the world stage and disgraced the honor of the US Marines and the Army. What is Biden going to do if Texas or Florida tells Washington DC to shove it? The power of a state is derived from the perception of its power. And Biden has NONE.

I don't know about Army bases but Navy bases have chocolate milk in the mess hall that is god tier and highly addictive. Granted even with choccy milk I don't know how you get fat on a military base.
