That's not what is going on though. The videos are continually watered down with diversity hires who are not remotely funny. The lack of care they have for their older audience who got them where they are. The way they continue to hammer the point in that they are "woke" and appeal to the zoomer/gay/tranny/blm demographic. It's honestly why I hope the entire company just crashes and burns. I know it'll put alot of people out of work. To which I say good, they fucking deserve it.

I could stomach new hires, nothing wrong with having more people to diversify your audience and growth within your clique. What RT did was hire the unqualified daughter of a famous celebrity they wanted to curry favour with who had zero impact within the RT community, didn't get the vibe of the channel, then blamed the fans for shitting on her. And as everyone over the age of 10 knows, you never let the trolls know they got to you unless you're in it for the pity points. And did the pity points flow, not enough to keep her from going on to other jobs that require her to be black and very-slightly-famous (working for blizzard esports whoops!) but continues to shit on their audience ever since.

Any mistake they make is blown off, they act like the channel isn't sinking, that they known what the community likes, etc. You can get funny and creative gay / black / trans/ whatever people, but RT really manage to find the most boring shits that I guess swirl around the Austin 'creative' ecosystem and end up poisoning the well for anyone else because they use their minority status as an excuse for their otherwise terrible ideas. RT really has become a 'what not to do' in terms of hiring and creativity, their only two hires from the community were actually well received but since then they just gave friends positions that they have no buisness being in.

I won't be sad the day RT closes, RT itself has long been 'closed' for me.

RWBY is a dead fish now, it's had its day and no studio will want to pick up a narrative burden when a newer show could be produced easier with better writing and less awful animation.

I never liked Mica. And when she was gone I thought:"Good riddance." but holy fuck Fiona is worse.
I still believe that RT started bleeding out when Ray left. I never considered Funhaus to be a part of RT until around 2019, and since then they've been losing viewers as well. Sad.

I agree, and I think it's no coincidence that Funhaus began dying when Bruce quit in September of that year. He wasn't always the funniest and couldn't play games for shit, but his enthusiasm and laughter somehow made everything better.

I'm thankful the fans saved the Disney princess and beating GTA episodes because that was some A+ dark humor.

Also unpopular opinion, I hated their forced RP in that GTA 5 series, where they played as cops and robbers. I found it extremely cringey, it could have been so much better imho.

I used to be an avid AH watcher, mostly watching Minecraft LP and GTA stuff, up until Ray left.
Then I clicked on a Demo Disk with ScarJo as Black Widow naked on the preview, and the rest is history.

I got lucky and managed to get one comment on their Comments show and one question in one of the later episodes of Open Haus.

I liked SP7 for the first season, then RT took them over and what seemed like a group of friends fucking around making silly storylines turned into a group of friends working a job and the tone changed and I just didn't find it as fun anymore.

Also yeah... I'm pretty sure that Suptic finds himself somewhere on some sort of retard scale. Seems like a nice guy though.
