Kudos to one of the head writers for being rational. I may not like RWBY after the first few volumes (which were very flawed, but watchable), but at least someone on their staff recognizes that this is a bad idea.

The thing with Shane's letter is that the claims he makes are technically true, but they're drowned in the bitterness of an ex-employee who desperate to see RT as supervillains. Most of the things he says happened aren't actually bad (changing up their software to something that was actually supposed to be used for animation, not giving a women with no writing qualifications outside of being married to the creative lead a job as a writer, ect.), but they're made to sound bad because his wording tries to make these acts out to be some malicious plot against Monty rather than a business adapting to losing their leading animator and needing to rebuild their process that before only really worked for Monty and Shane.
Who are you going to believe, some soulless corporation out to save their asses by dumping low quality content to be consoomed, or some guy that very clearly wishes he had sucked Monty's dick before he died?
I am more forgiving of the letter because not only did he lose what seems to be a close friend and, in part, grieving over it, but also just lost his job to a bunch of hacks. The situation he has found himself in and the bitterness he feels is more understandable and therefore easier to forgive.
He could've said anything here to attempt damage control and not let himself caught in the crossfire. Eddy is NOT nearly as modest as he paints himself when you remember that even he will lash out on criticisms.
RWBY's staff and RT in general seem to have skin like fucking paper. I still remember there is a video of Geoff (or whichever spelling) crying because random retards in the comments section from like a decade ago said that his ex-wife was a whore and his kid was a bastard. When I was younger me and my friends loved Red v Blue, but seeing the people behind it has been nothing but a constant stream of disappointment.

The best thing about that is (well best for these babies) is that they can ban you, then if anyone were to ask for evidence you did what you were accused just say that it's all been deleted to protect other posters sensibilities or some shit. I've been a fan of many things that I've been critical of, it's silly to ban that.
