Uto just stayed behind after scrims to talk about the games with their coach I think. Sounds like she's beating herself up for not having enough game sense/knowing strats and started crying again which is just heartbreaking as fuck. I don't know how much tournament experience she has, but it sounds like being thrown into a relatively big tourney as a team captain has fucked her up since she sounds anxious as hell the past few streams. Anyway, tournament is tomorrow for the two other people here that care about competitive Apex.

She has 0 tournament experience. This is her first. Unfortunately, everyone has to have a first time and more often than not it is, putting it mildly, a 'real learning experience'.

Putting it less mildly, they usually get the shit kicked out of them.

The way teams play in these tournaments is only familiar to Master+ players, so you're essentially telling any player below Diamond 2 to sink or swim on how the game is played in the upper echelons. She isn't the lowest-ranked Captain but she might be the least experienced in this setting.

The best outcome tomorrow is that they finish in a placement they can be proud of and Uto keeps signing up for them to get more and more experience. She meets all the prerequisites to get invited to these events.

Edit: Despite this, she isn't the lowest-ranked member and I think she's being very hard on herself. There are Plat and Gold players in this tournament; all with tempered expectations and yet still doing their bit. Ryugasaki Rene (the girl known for being shit at Connect 4) won a match. Like there is no reason to really feel you're doing any worse than other players.

That’s interesting take considered Ina did said in one of her stream that she had a friend in Australia (not Haachama) whose talk about how she need to buy a new thongs (Aussies word for flip flop) so she can go to the back yard. This could be some Australian artist that had some streaming and know Ina (that could zone down quite a bit). In the end, Vtuber is like any business and it’s all about who do you know that will get you a foot in the door (faster interview process while the rest of the process is still up to you but get front loaded over thousands applicants surely is a good advantage).

Yeah, one of the reason why I believe the artist theory is because I believe there is no way that the Myths member won't have a say for Council's audition. It does sound like Nepotism, to he honest. But another artist seemed interesting, and it also fits with my personal belief that Cover wants talents from various backgrounds for the EN branch and not just VTubers, just like HoloMyth is

After a quick dive on this person, I wouldn't be surprised. Marica was also fluent in English and Japanese (which Hakos has also proven herself to be), was a good singer with an obvious passion for it and was a big Hololive fan (favorite Vtuber was Roberu) and even had Moona and Ollie drop by her streams. She also has a fairly cute, one one might even call 'mousey', voice to her.
Only thing that seems a little off to me is that if Hakos is Marica, I can't pin down why Mori would be so obsessed with her as they don't appear to share any interests or similarities at all.

On a side note, the reason her YouTube and Twitter got nuked was due to the MyHoloTV drama that happened at the start of the year where her entire gen got canned over contract disputes or something.

I thought it was pretty obviously a joke that the manager was making and they weren't being serious at all.

Oh, there's a contract dispute in the agency? Now that's interesting. It could help, but also at the same time not, supporting the veracity of the theory

In other words, Pippa believes that Artia was a good streamer and doesn't like people taking her opinion about Artia's content as her opinion on Artia as a shitty person. That's seems a bit like a cope, coming from an usually no-nonsense person like her, but it doesn't mean Pippa's blind.

This is also coming from someone who seems very aware of just how easily they could be cancelled. If you have in the back of your head that one day your name might be dirt, it could make you more open to wanting to separate the art from the artist because you want people to do the same for you.

The quality of her l2d has me in awe. The movements and the tracking in just that short clip look better than just about anything in Hololive. Maybe it falls apart if I were to watch longer, but that rigging is nice. The art is nice too. I assume she drew it herself? Wiki says she is an artist who has done work for Calli, Projekt Melody, and Lilypichu. But it was the movement that really got me. Cover needs to hire her rigger for poor Gura and Anya.

In fact, if work created by rapists is any hindrance to you then you can't enjoy like 70-80% of anything ever produced by Hollywood.

Eh, I think the main comparison would be liking Roman Polanski movies while an acquaintance of yours was raped by him.

Not saying that Coco was raped by Artia mind you or, or that it's even comparable. It's just a lot of these comparisons are moot because we don't know anyone affected by the wrongdoings of Bill Cosby and the likes. Whereas we are familiar with the victim of what Artia did.
