My hot take: The left and the democrats are doing a lot of suppression of people critical off them. Tech corpos like google or twitter will manipulate and hide information, big media corpos will outright lie 24 7, politicians will deny deny deny they ever did anything wrong and even that a situation exists at all. Leftist voters will spend all their time online sneering at critics and ranting about them being qtards or whatnot.
The big mistake of the people who do that shit is they think it goes one way. Like its good that people who could challenge your power can't.
Problem is it doesn't go one way. When you cut down people's ability to critique you you also cut down your own ability to know how you are fucking up.

I think they really do believe it's all going to magically go away if they just pass the buck far enough and wait long enough.

Take a good look at how many of the career politicians literally qualify for Social Security.
Look at how many of these Generals went into the military before you were born, hell, for some of you, before you parents even graduated from elementary school.
Two of the 4-stars in charge of this complete fuckup have 40 years or more in the military and ZERO combat experience. They're around 60 fucking years old. They avoided anything at all actually military and didn't wreck up their bodies like everyone else.
This is basically reminding the public that "hey, age actually fucking matters" when it comes to elected officials and generals.
Just a reminder, Milley and the commander of CENTCOM joined the military before the M1 tank, the Apache, the B-1 Bomber, the M16A2, the AT4, the Bradley.
They are literally older than obsolete equipment. If they were trucks they'd be in a junkyard.

You -greatly- underestimate the degree that Biden's handlers have fucked up. There is not a single thing he's above water on right now. That means he successfully alienated the majority of Americans -even in push polls-.
That means that the majority of American's -do not trust him- to "Build Back Better". If it were that easy, he'd not have been steadily going down this entire time with that exact same messaging. Its hardly going to make him bounce back from a major crisis when it hasn't been working even before that crisis.
