If Ralph could guarantee that his case would take down the farms he’d book himself back into prison in a heartbeat. I think even he realizes his complaint against Josh and the farms is too thin to hold up at all though so he’ll probably devote himself to his defense. It is just dissemination of images and like Faith said, one of the ones posted on /cow/ was a canary image only sent to ralph. I know they weren't explicit but it might be related.

The most logical hypothetical is that an agreement was reached between Faith/Vickers and Ralph whereby Ralph didn't fuck with them and they wouldn't assist the prosecutor, and would ask for the case to not be pursued in the meantime. After all, even though Faith/Vickers wouldn't need to pay for representation to assist in prosecuting, providing testimony and such is still an imposition on their lives and if Ralph just goes away and stops bothering the Vickers, having the DA not pursue the case is the easiest solution for all involved.

Likely, the pictures leaking provably linked to Ralph was a trigger for Faith/Vickers to call up the prosecutor and say "so about that case..." since by most people's standards leaking private photos like that in a way provably linked to Ralph would qualify as Ralph fucking with them.

So not related in a legal sense as it shouldn't change the facts or charges in the case, but unless evidence to the contrary emerges I'd say it's probable that it is related.

Were these photos leaked during the current(?)/most recent restraining order? I admit I don't know about VA, but in many places a breach of a restraining order carries criminal penalties.

Since there isn't a new arraignment in the District Court, I'd assume this is probably under the same case number as the original case, and is simply reopening the original case. He probably had some kind of keep your nose clean agreement but no, the Gunt just couldn't stop fucking with Faith. What an absolute white trash Gunt idiot.
