I’m inclined to believe at this point that his engagement to Pantsu and posting the baby photos were the Gunt’s petty attempts to get back at Faith for the case being reopened.

Hell, one could even consider the newest fetus was part of the revenge deal if he was aware of it proceeding in July. Ralph getting a woman pregnant, getting engaged and leaking baby photos are all possibilities when dealing with someone as petty, weak and angry as Ralph.

If he was arraigned on Aug 13, I’d assume he knew that was coming down the pike for a week or two at minimum. I’d bet he ran out and bought that cheap boomer engagement ring within 72 hours of finding out his arraignment was on the docket. Getting engaged and announcing it online simply as a petty revenge tactic is so on brand for Ralph.

And it's the third or subsequent offense. If they'd meant it to be the first offense, they'd have put it before the "third or subsequent" language, not after it. It's very poorly drafted, but that's probably what it means.

I see what you're saying, but can they really do anything to fuck it up at this point? I think all the prosecutors need is a cooperating victim with a victim's statement, electronic evidence, and it's their burden to prove the case which is only between the state and Ethan Ralph. Not like in the restraining order case where it's between Ralph's lawyers and Vickers' lawyers. I know lawyers always tell their clients to keep it quiet in regards to commenting on things, but I'm sure that's for civil cases and for the defense in criminal cases.

On the other hand, I could see Vickers refraining from commenting on Virgina v Ralph because it could hurt the civil case Vickers v Ralph and their chance to get Ralph barred from contacting them, Faith, or the gunt spawn.

He was playing Faith for a sucker by stringing her along, pretending he had any concern or love for her, to prevent this happening. I’d guess releasing the baby photos was his revenge for the restraining order and this. (It seems his court appearance was Aug. 11. When were the baby photos posted on cow?)

I think Ralph announcing his engagement with Pantsu, and then announcing she was the new improved broodmare, might have been the final straw. Finally Faith saw she had just been played and Ralph was only concerned about the revenge porn charge, so Vickers could finally hit the go button.
