Lol. Back in 2013, I had finished a business deal in Malaysia early and had managed to get Thursday through Tuesday to relax in country. Booked a nice resort out of the city and on my drive there, I got a fucking road block. The cop, in broken English, tells me he wants some coffee but does not have any so he will do a vehicle inspection.
I am not giving the cop a fucking bribe so I pull out an Iridium sat phone and select the emergency number for the US Embassy. Once I get through to the automated voice, I put on the speakerphone.
Once he heard the words say US Embassy the cop just waved me through. However, the car I rented and valeted at the resort did have it's taillight broken when I was leaving. But that was on my company and the resort.
