Vaccines are a shield/net, not a tank/punching bag. Especially with delta, being around disease riddled people means you can still catch a REDUCED case of it. Vaccines lower infection and make it milder, but are not a 100 percent screen. It is a societal duty to make sure the virus doesn't linger in populations, as that leads to more deadly variants as the virus gets tasty testing grounds.
I'm sure the Auditors are suffering due to hanging around people who had it, and now help the thing grow worse.
