Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Was your post at me? Because it's not like I don't understand how this shit works or how it affects people. My comment was kinda at the general vibe of the thunderdome more than anyone specific.

Thing is, globo is gonna happen whether we participate or not and if we don't we're fucked. My point remains that if you can't hold your job then you aren't valuable enough to hold it.

The original post I replied to was "reee refugees will come here and take my job" so it wasn't even about outsourcing, but if we're gonna pretend that literally all work is leaving the US, then the correct response is for anyone who wants a job to move out of the country and let the house of cards collapse - however, people have been reeing about this for decades and somehow everyone keeps on finding jobs here.

This is assuming that the value you bring to your job is your skill, we all know that's not what's happening in these cases. The only value is that someone brings is cheaper. Which is bullshit that natives are being priced out because they won't do a job for cheaper when pitted against someone who receives supplements from gov/charities that natives don't receive be it because of dignity or they don't qualify.

But even in advance jobs. How does an American engineer compete with an Indian from degree mill uni. When they will work it for 9.50 an hour

Being guaranteed work by your government is a handout. It's the government taking the profits of a company which would otherwise have outsourced and giving them to you via that company in the form of wages.
