Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Just got his hit of adrenochrome, Hillary more interested in cheesecake from Juniors.
Is it wrong to say that I like Hillary's spare tire?

Aah, let her have her cheesecake and vodka. She's through and she knows it. Bill doesn't look bad. Bill's through, too. Will never forget the look on Bill's face when Donald Trump brought in several of the women Bill had assaulted. May not be too much to say the Clintons are on the scrap heap of history.
How the mighty have fallen.

You're missing one more from that list.
Not too long ago China listed all the territory that it considered to belong to it, and not only was a portion of Northern Vietnam on the list but parts of southeastern Russia too and I'm sure at that moment everyone in the room looked at Xi and was like :jacewtf:
Yes a lot of people forget that the relations between China and Russia have always been shacky at best, they both have the common goal of being the main hegemonic power of Eurasia so of course they aren't best buddies, the only reason they aren't enemies is because they have the common enemy of the US however that tense relation has been slowly degrading over the years due to the fact that Russia is still recovering after the fall of the USSR while China is a rising power, and then you have the usual Chinese bullshit of stealing your shit and then say they made it, IIRC, a few years ago Russia made a deal with China, it would give China a few hundred fighter planes with the condition that China wasn't allowed to build them, China turned around, build exact replicas of those planes, changed their colour scheme and model name and whoala, a new 100% original plane, this didn't make the Russkies happy and now with China claiming Vladivostok is only making the relation worsen.

Yeah. Frankly, we should take away that old Cold War antagonism with the Russians and ally with them as a diplomatic counter against the Chinese. I might not like Putin in some regards, but he's got to make a better ally/friend than China under Xi. Not to mention that Russia has a long history with China, and if we can promise them Manchuria to settle so many Russians, hey, they'd probably go balls deep into China.

It's really a big case of "what's your plan stupid?" on China's part.
Let's say America collapses. Totally. Balkanizes. China is now world superpower, EU is number 2 and China's nominal friend thanks to belt and road. Time to reconquer clay in Russia, right? Right?
Uhhhh, Russia has nukes and is a non-shit space power. Go to war and they go kessler syndrome in addition to possibly launching nukes. There's a huge land border and Russia can and likely will bypass via Mongolia. And for what? A few enclaves of Han ethnic tribals? For fuck sake's man. Xi is up his own asshole on this one.

The problem with a US-Russia alliance is military cliques on both sides. The US Army basically needs Russia to be OPFOR to justify its presence in Europe, and the Russian Navy needs the US to be OPFOR to justify shenanigans in the Arctic (the US Navy is far more interested in the Pacific). So it isn't just politicians being stupid, it is mutually beneficial antagonism.

It gets worse. Russia's military is -entirely- aimed at defense. With an artillery compliment that dwarfs the U.S., complete and total air coverage over every inch of it. SAM sites -everywhere-, and the ability to deploy entire divisions anywhere within Russian territory in less than a day. Pair that with prepared supply caches hidden throughout the Russian countryside and you have a fucking hellish nut to crack.

What does Russia have to gain with supporting the Taliban?

China doesn't want territory in Siberia because they're concerned about a few ethnic Chinese, China wants Siberia because Siberia is a treasure-house of natural resources waiting to be exploited, and because China is going to need that Siberian land for food production once they finish poisoning their own agricultural land and depleting their native water sources.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It's not all of Siberia the Chinese are after though, it genuinely the tiny bits that used to be part of China once upon a time. That's why it's so absurd. You could argue that Siberia is the real prize, but... I don't think so. If that were the case they wouldn't be so indirect about it, they'd not mention it at all until the time was right.

Is the 25th even necessary? It seems like there's enough dirt between Joe, his brother, and Hunter to sink the whole ship if federal law enforcement threatened to start indicting people. Resign or your family ends up in a jail cell for crimes that will sully your name for generations.
The 25th amendment allows them to get rid of Biden for senility and health reasons, which lets them avoid going "Sampson in the Temple" and bury all of the illegal shit Joe and Hunter etc have done.

Reducing American hegemony, making itself a more appealing prospect for the EU.
Would it be a tug of war between Russia and China for a Taliban occupied Afghanistan? Is it possible for the Taliban to branch out to other Middle Eastern countries like Napoleon did?

The Pakis and Indians have nukes, and Iran might have them sooner or later. Might not work out the way the Taliban want.

Nah, Russia's only interest in the region is reducing American hegemony. China actually -needs- the rare earth minerals there, Russia has access to absolute tons on its own soil. They just need foreign investment to really begin tapping into it.

So, they don't care about the Taliban. They just recognize how weak Afghanistan is with control and want to seize all opportunity by biding their time for a potential collapse.

By they do you mean Russia or China?

Based on your explanation, I would say both? I'm not an expert on geopolitics, but if the Taliban collapses Afghanistan, wouldn't the Russians try to seize control or at least encourage Afghanistan to be anti American?

China could just swoop in and take materials through a secret deal or when nobody's looking.
