In any case, I have zero doubts that if he saw the child, he has saved images of her. Internet freak pedos that seek out their victims online are definitely CP collectors, so while I obviously don’t hope that he promoted sexual photos from the victim, I do hope there’s an investigation and I hope he gets busted for something more prosecutable like possession of CP. As it stands, creeping on children online makes for a disgustingly light sentence if a conviction can even be made.

For real though, I don't understand how we've reached a point where people think it's even ok for children to hang out online where they're being exposed to god only knows who. If this was a physical location nobody would think that was copacetic, but hey, the kids will whine if you try to take away their electronics and it's hard to find other things for them to do, so may as well just shrug and let them be preyed on and irreparably warped by an internet that regularly messes up even grown adults.

There was like a short era there where people actually tried to set up closed, restricted internet safety zones for the kiddos, but for some reason these went the way of the dodo along with inexpensive, limited "kid friendly" electronics. Now they just get their own brand-new iPhone where they're free to roam the depths of YouTube and Twitter, unsupervised, and nobody seems to have much of a problem with this. It's bizarre.
