I think it's more misplaced loyalty because there's no benefit in it whatsoever. Ralph's paypigs, when they finally get sick of his bullshit, generally remain as stupidly fanatical as they always were, but instead, they turn into stupidly fanatical ayylawgs, so they'll hate anyone who supports the Gunt and it really looks like Nick does, whether he does or not.

Well ladies and guntlemen, I bring great news. Despite Ralph claiming there were "no special circumstances" listed on page 1 of like 3 of the dispensation paperwork, and despite claiming the case wasn't nolle prosequi'd but rather was dismissed outright, I can now confirm to you lovely people that indieed, Ethan Ralph's charges for revenge porn for releasing the sex tape of Faith have been reinstated. His arraignment was held 13 August 2021, his next court date is 10 September.
