I think so because even though they didn't apologize, this is the pigroach we're talking about. He can as easily as we breathe sit in front of a camera and declare that becoming an affiliate is tantamount to Twitch admitting it was in the wrong. He won't actually think that, but he'll have no problem saying it. He didn't go to YouTube to strong arm them, he went because it was either that or actually live on tips forever. So he has nothing to go back on, no impact on his pride.

Not to mention that if they kicked him over the exclusivity rule that he violated for years, or hateful slurs, or especially BOTH, that has to mean that they're not going to just hand him his gravy train back. They know who and what he is, why else bother kicking him to begin with?
Alas, UNFORTUNATELY the main difference between affiliate and Partner isn’t financial. They make the same.

Partners just get some more icons or whatever, some extra features that Phil doesn’t use and doesn’t care about, and perhaps mainly the only thing that would matter to him: Partners get some kind of live person techsupport.

Affiliates? Only automated emails.

So if some sped copyright strikes Phil, he won’t be back in a matter of hours.

Phil would just have to get in the back of the email line with all the new guys and hobby streamers, and hear back in a few days.

That one would be a real blow to his ego, and has definite potential for a few days of hilarious EMERGENCY streams with Phil seething and raging.

can someone add the fake laugh to this?

Phil jumps back on Twitch the second he can be an affiliate again, no question about it. I thought one positive of Youtube would be a few of his many 200k subs there would join his streams, but that hasn't happened whatsoever. Subs are obviously way down, but his viewership is also. He's struggling to even hit 300 viewers now, and he was above that on Twitch. His Youtube views are roughly the same too, maybe a touch better as more of his videos are over 1000 views now which is still record-breaking abysmal for a former top Youtuber.

Stealing him back? I wasn't talking about them offering him anything, I'm talking about him crawling back to them to beg for affiliate. If they came back and offered him anything I'm sure he'd jump at it but they won't be doing that. For a narcissist going back to a company that banned you is different than the switch he did to youtube where he was just going back to a platform. He bitched about youtube but they never banned him from making money because of how toxic he is. And he was always going to go back to sucking Activision's cock, the guy is a CoD whore and they certainly have never banned him.

Reminder that this was his reaction to being banned:

Being told he used hateful slurs hurt DSP. His ego will be a factor, and your comment doesn't even address what a lazy fuck he is.

Edit: And again, I'm not saying he won't go back. I'm just saying it's not as cut and dry as people are saying.
Tbh it is pretty cut and dry when it comes to Phil. Money is above all else to him including his ego, and he was getting way more subs on twitch since oic can buy them for people. He will definitely go back as soon as he can

I think Boogie2988 is the only other Youtuber that can compete with DSP on the subs-to-low "interactions" scale.

It's always fascinated me that DSP has been stuck in the 190K range for so long. He went years where it was exactly 189K subs.

I don't think I've seen a graph this flat in my life. The only time DSP gains subs is when some helpful fan buys 1K for him. That's it.

The main reason I think his views are down is simply because his chat is inaccessible, waiting a whole day after subbing, the slow mode ect. I also feel the whales did like showing off to the chat...for some reason so now the chat is dead there is very few whales. Also of course he keeps picking boring games, he should know people want him to be pissed off and ranting at the game.

If only he had the self awareness to know that the only way he can exist and make money is to humiliate himself and accept almost all the people who watch him are trolls, the rest need carers or are probably insane.

Btw hello Phil, let something sink into your brain that isn't gin.

OIC trying to overshadow and run off all of his mid-level and higher tippers has done enormous damage.

Then he will DEFINITELY declare affiliation to be a victory for him. But like you said, it won't be, because then it will open the door for some Superhound-style shenanigans. That will put some money in his pocket, it always does when the DSP Show gets interesting, but he'll hate it, and after that first day of being banned or whatever, the excitement wears off and so does the money, adding to his crankiness.

It's pretty funny that the pigroach can't bring himself to fully embrace being a Truman for the money it would shower him with, because holy shit just imagine the amount of whaling out on Champions he could do if he did. Goes to show just how much he prioritizes having an exact situation without any compromises. He is to be taken seriously, hit the tips goal every stream, get no trolling from anybody, and have an easy-going time playing video games that don't make a fool out of him. Take any single one of those things away and you may as well be removing an essential support for a building. Oh, and that is all to last forever without any hiccups.

Obviously makes him one spoiled little bastard, but what's funny is how stupid he is for not learning by now that it's impossible. For anyone, let alone him. Max Dood doesn't have a Superhound to deal with, but he's still not about to become attached to living on easy street. And if he does, he'll regret it, just like anybody else.

This alone should be driving the pigroach to drink himself stupid.

Question is, would returning to Twitch get those views back up, or are they gone for good no matter the platform because it has to do with his content, not the platform? I reckon that's the case, give how much the pigroach has gone out of his way to be boring and still try to rake in tips, without lifting a finger to grow his audience. He just milks the few people he has left, without even the spine to make peace with it and stop bitching about his lot in life if he's not going to fix it.

I guess the only question is whether Phil will try and use some regular pignosis to explain the switch to Twitch:

“I got some MAJOR NEWS alright?*SNORT* Today I received an email from Twitch approving me into their affiliate program! The way I see it, this is Twitch’s way of apologizing and saying: ‘We’re sorry Phil, we made a mistake welcome back, ok?”

Or whether his ego commands him to outright lie and spin a tale to his paypigs:

“MAJOR news update everyone... Today... Behind the scenes... I received a phone call from someone high up at Twitch. I’m not going to name the name, because asshole trolls will immediately hound them *SNORT* You know how those fucking idiots are ACK! ACK! ACK! But he told me, behind the scenes, that he’s an old fan! He said ‘Phil! I respect your decades long legacy, how you’ve OUTLASTED everyone and ALL your hard work! I am sorry for what happened, it wasn’t right! You’ve been unfairly treated and you did nothing wrong to get banned!’ He has arranged for me to start streaming again FROM Twitch as one of their Trusted Afilliates, alright?”

Place your bets folks! Regular Pignosis or a prestream long of Phil weaving stories?

It might give him a slight bump in viewers compared to Youtube because Twitch is where you go for that and occasionally someone will stumble over his streams.

But overall, I’d reckon that like 80% of the people: Fans or tractors, who wanted to follow him, at least occasionally check out the YouTube streams.

If Phil had 600 viewers before, and has 300 now, he might have 400 a few weeks after going back when the initial “excitement” has dropped?

The bigger difference will definitely be financial: Subs and bits.

And yes! It’ll be absolutely hilarious to see Phil seethe and rant for 2-3-4 days because some issue knocked his stream offline.

I'm talking about how he'll spin it after swearing he would never go back to Twitch again. He would go back in a millisecond and spin it as a victory. He'd be right, too.
There is no 'victory' to spin. He left by his own accord. He can go back right this second.
Didnt see this one posted here, I think its worth it! Everytime dsp says "mentally ill".

lol @ MentallyIllPhail thinking the first place the cops would look for someone that did something to him would be the farms.

Not thinking this will be the case, but it would be pretty fucking hilarious if Twitch baited him into applying for affiliate status in October knowing full well that they have no intention of approving it. Give him a nice big bowl of his own medicine.

Since he has to re-build, I almost want him to get it back just to watch him struggle and then lose it again by being an idiot.
Phil isn't going to get affiliated again, specially after that little spat he pulled when he found out the reason why his partnership was pulled.

I am putting 3 snorts and a paypigs wheelchair on option 1

Has the pig talk about the DR news? If his quiet his gonna be looking to apply but you know if he gets spurned he will be salty and go on a big rampage "I've been quiet on the dr disrespect issues and everyone been asking "phil whats is your take""
I heard him say that he thinks DR should sue twitch and DR will win last night, I don't know if that is all that he's said about it.

I agree Phil will retcon whatever is needed to go back to Twitch as affliate if they take him. He is making so much less money, that fact is all you need to know that he is going back.

I find it hard to believe they would take him back but then again they could have banned him but they didnt, they only removed his ability to make money (lol if this was intended). I would imagine the whole "You can reapply in 6 months" line is generic boiler plate they send to everyone though, if there is a note in his file that says "never allow back" i would still expect the email to say that, they just dont have to approve his application.

i doubt though that the people who matter (the ones who would decide yay or nay on affliate) know anything about all the shit he talked about twitch when they kicked him. i highly doubt the twitch support twitter guy is telling the important decision makers what they are getting spammed with. that being said, if they DO know what he said i would doubt they would let him back.

I don't think they'll take him back though since they announced that their streamers will be judged on what they do on other platforms and in IRL. Note that DSP was kicked out two weeks after this announcement.

He also began talking about bits as money the second he was removed from partner.
