Honestly I thought the same.

My guess now is it was a road test for how profitable it was for them to fundraise through furcons.

Its possible they are inept enough to not realize the sunk cost versus profit of going since they definitely don't consider the well being of the animals with the manpower the con takes from caring for them. Penny strikes me as seeing the 16k as pure profit without considering the trade off or how traveling to further cons would cost even more.

We’ve got some mildly interesting ranch updates, folks! Let’s start with the most important part, the finances.

Yesterday, Bonnie make a bank deposit consisting of a rather large stack of bills. Note the blue hairtie being used to hold them together.

Less than an hour An hour and a half ago, Kevin tweeted more about the money and future plans.

You know, it occurred to me while I was gathering these tweets that I don’t even know if Kevin is actually a furry or not. I haven’t been following this mess for long and I don’t recall seeing him discuss his fursonas. Not like it matters though, he clearly enjoys being around like-minded individuals.

Though I know that Bonnie, on the other hand, clearly is a furry.

Considering the state of the alpacas, I’d say that the death spirit fursona is a bit too spot on.

And going back to Bonnie and Kevin, Bonnie mentioned something out about needing a room for Littles.

I guess this is the first attempt (or what remains of it). I decided to include it for the sake of being thorough.

1. Kevin wore that shirt twice at the con, and I need to know if its been washed since then. The smell of a furcon and then unwashed ranch walking is more than I wanted to imagine today.

2. I love the way they view money without grasping the in and out cost.
