Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Lol at thinking this would've gone any better under the man who was responsible for releasing 5000 taliban soldiers and their president from Afghan prison.

If Trump had won and this still happened, you'd still not regret your vote. And I wouldn't blame you. This would've happened under any president.

I admit that he fucked this up, but unlike you, I can admit when the guy who I voted for fucked up. I know crippling autism has made you think everything is all or nothing, but you can support a candidate and not regret your vote and still not support 100% of the things they do. Again, I know this will blow your diseased brain, but that's the real world
wow, not only are you sperging out and projecting, bit you're also making wild assumptions about what I would've done personally. And are you saying you actually regret voting for JoePedo?

And btw, Trump wouldn't have fucked up like this. 99% of the fuckup lies in the fact that the guy supposedly in charge isn't all there, so decisions are delayed and when he's awake he's actively dodging the issue. Trump is way more active, and would be making snap judgments, which, while seat of the pants, would be decisions. Plus, we would've likely been out by May 1, so no, this wouldn't have happened like this.

Why we never quietly passed some nukes to Taiwan always baffles me.
Because that’d escalate the situation.
The number one moral rule in geopolitics is “whoever escalates is in the wrong”. Obviously someone eventually escalates, but it is a giant game of chicken trying not to and then pointing to the one who does like a kindergartener who just heard a swear word.

I know it's kinda bullshit because something like this hasn't happened in a long time but this attack and the administration's response to it and the situation in general reminds me of the worst days in Iraq

Before Bush kicked Rumsfeld out and froze out Cheney and left the war to the generals

The soldiers perform manfully but their orders are retarded and they don't have enough of everything to do a proper job. Back home it's a shameful disconnect from reality in the administration. Acting in control when it's the enemy that has the initiative and everyone knows it

This Jake Sullivan asshole or whatever the fuck his name is needs to go. Fire his ass. Milley should resign. So should Austin. Or fired whatever.

All this look at how many people we got out we did such a good job is cover for people not being fired or resigning. 12 marines and a navy medic are dead because a lot of people didn't know their asses from their elbows. Fuck you get out

Imagine thinking this is a good look

Im concerned that the lack of respect, capital and power will force the establishment to do something drastic and close to home.

Just be suspicious if another attack happens on 9 11 as justification to go back into the middle east.
The problem or... good thing? Is that pulling off a false flag actually costs capital.

Which they don't have.

Agreed. As a non-American; it's time the rest of the world to get off Uncle Sam's fat teats.
The problem is the proverbial teat is threefold:
1. Nuclear umbrella
2. Foreign aid (the bad one)
3. Global trade not getting raided by various bad actors

So while we’d all like total US isolationism to rebuild the shattered corpse of a nation, the fact is someone has to be the anti-pirate patrol. And no, China don’t care so long as they aren’t affected.

The same reason smug shit libs keep posting that picture of Pompeo with the Taliban. Their trying to pin the U.S deaths at Kubul Airport on Trump's 2020 withdrawal deal to deflect from Biden violating it's terms.

I gotta say, other countries sound really pissed at Joe right now and the media isn't towing the line very well. It looks like he fucked up in a lot of ways people weren't expecting. It'll be interesting to see how this gets walked back by his party.

Sun Tzu say, you escalate in a way that leaves your enemy unable to retaliate

The britbongs and French both used to have naval Armadas, the Japanese definitely have the potential as well. The reason they don't is... well, American hegemony. Why pay for it when America will? The nuclear umbrella is similarly solved by careful alliances with nuclear powers. Russia ironically is the best here, Putin would love to have some more influence and unlike China doesn't want to infect everyone else with his ideals.

Foreign aid can go fuck itself.

Only works if the other side cannot retaliate and doesn't have an invested interest in going to war Neither apply for the China-Taiwan conflict

CIA Directory drops by Afghnistan, somehow the Taliban get a list of all Americans.

Tell me again why my policy about glowies is wrong.

Milley flat out STATES they don't need Baghram and now he's saying that nobody could have stopped this?

"Paging motorpool gorilla and commo wire, paging motor pool gorilla and commo wire..."

Tell me again how nobody is allowed to judge a fuckward with 41 years who makes basic fucking strategic mistakes like this.

Go ahead.

Milley's a "political" general. A warfighter general would beat him like a gong. Milley's a disgrace to the uniform.
