Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

US Supreme Court just blocked Biden's/CDC's attempt to extend the eviction moratorium, in a 6-3 ruling.

Court opinion attached to post.
What does this mean?
I apologize for being a couple of days late, but the USAF has officially announced that all Airmen will be forced to take the vaccine.

The brass is trying to make it sound like any other vaccine requirement, as though talking about it like it's an MMR vax will put it on the same level, for fuck's sake.
Let’s see how many people end up going AWOL or requesting discharges (or whatever the military’s equivalent of resigning is).

Landlords can evict nonpaying tenants as normal again. The Court signalled it *might* have ruled differently if Congress had actually passed a new, specific law on the subject. But Congress failed to do that, instead they tried to claim an older, more limited law gave the CDC to order a wide-ranging ban on evictions during some circumstances. This made the Court extra mad, because they already argued about that exact point back in June. So the Court cock-slapped Congress 6-3 this time, after politely letting things slide once.

Moral of the story -- don't make judges mad.

Notice that in 2020 the overall mortality rate in the UK was BELOW the long term average by over 2%.

Updated CFR and vaccination status from the UK NHS

The fully vaccinated have a case fatality rate of 0.9%

The non vaxxed have a case fatality rate of 0.2%

That's um quite some difference

And it's likely way worse than being reported as it's obvious the testing numbers are being screwed with.

Only 4900 Delta cases in unvaccinated over 50's showing a 6.5% mortality rate? Lol.

The fact it’s 6-3 makes me feel this’ll have some staying power and will survive the changes of Washington. At the same time, I wonder if this’ll be protested and be seen as “one of the good ones”.

Oh man, the good old days. No one even remembers the Chinese knight protecting his village from Covid. Lots of things from that time got memory holed.

I personally liked the old guy with a Naginata sitting in a plastic chair. Kicking myself for not saving that one.

I'm not sure whether to be happy that the world is turning against the Biden regime or mad that they're doing it because of the Afghanistan fuck-up and not his covid policies. On one hand, the enemy of my enemy is my friend and any dent in the globohomo machine is a plus, but on the other hand, the fact that the rest of the world except red states agrees with his covid policies makes me even more convinced that this will never end.

Oh, who am I kidding? The Supreme Court just gave a more concrete ruling against the CDC's eviction moratorium. I shouldn't be a choosing beggar at this point.

The story about the 75 doctors walking out in Florida to protest unvaccinated patients covered by CNN seemed to be completely fake also

Its actually officially been debunked

Turns out the hospital is nearly empty of covid patients.

Usa today also officially debunked it.

Nothing is making sense
That video is gone now. Anyone have an archive?

And then in the real world nobody gives 2 shits about whether people self isolate and you see some people inside stores without masks. They are completely detached from reality.

This list that will be expanded on September states the usual lockdown bs while not quite a lockdown, people can't go to malls for example.

Edit: I need an excuse as to why im not vaxxed when I go into the univeristy to pick up food as I don't have anything to cook with and ordering is getting expensive. What do I do?

Tell them what you really think about the vax, and your real reason for not getting it. No sense pussy footing around things at this point as they'll just find a way to hand wave anything to guilt you into getting the vax.

Pretty sure the Christian religion also says some shit about not putting a mark on you which you need to buy or sell, maybe Reverend Twitter can Cafeteria Christplain that one to me.
I'm not really religious but someone sent this to me and I thought it was pretty freaky:

Revelation 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

That verse also speaks of the “great men of the earth” being “merchants”. The super rich elites. Gates, Soros, etc. Sorcery from the Greek is literally where we get the word for pharmacy. Medicine. Also used as magic.

Greek: φαρμακεία

Transliteration: pharmakeia

Pronunciation: far-mak-i’-ah

Definition: From G5332; medication (pharmacy) that is (by extension) magic (literal or figurative): – sorcery witchcraft

St. Jerome’s Latin Vulgate translated in the Douay-Rheims:

And the light of the lamp shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth, for all nations have been deceived by thy enchantments.

Latin: et lux lucernae non lucebit in te amplius : et vox sponsi et sponsae non audietur adhuc in te : quia mercatores tui erant principes terrae, quia in veneficiis tuis erraverunt omnes gentes.

well the navy deployed an entire hospital ship and it never got used. Lots of wierd shit happened that is suspect.

How about the train driver who crashed a loco through the end of a siding to try and sink the ship?

I think that was bullshit as from an aerial pic you could see the siding was not pointing towards the ship, was a fucking long way from the ship and there was a drop off from the siding to the surrounding land. That loco was going nowhere but nose dive off the rails. If it was a totally true story then loco guy was truly loco.

Talking of memory holed covid things...... what about the Nightingale Hospitals, in the UK, for the 100's of thousands of sick people, per fucking day, that The Science predicted. Well, that useless grifter Ferguson predicted. No wonder he has been memory holed as he may well go down in history as having destroyed more than you would think one man could.

I think the first Nightingale Hospital, by the Thames, with its adjacent airport for all the helicopters and planes that would fly patients in to and would have barges carrying the dead, down river, to a riverside temporary mortuary had a whopping total of about 6 patients and that was to test site protocols and safety. I think the temporary mortuary was taken apart and the land turned into a flower garden quite some time ago. Before the end of last year, possibly. If so that what before flu season, before Delta, before vaccines etc so they had the measure of this by then.

Those hospitals cost so much fucking money. Unbelievable amounts. All part of the covid grift and now all forgotten like it never happened.

I love when I see all these "experts" go on CNN and say that we'll "never" go back to the way it was before when 2/3rds to 3/4ths of the country already have.

This clip was less than a month ago.

How it was

Misleading posts on social media are now twisting data from Israel to falsely claim the country’s vaccination program is a failure due to the number of breakthrough cases of COVID-19 among the vaccinated. Medical professionals say Israel’s vaccine program is making remarkable progress against the virus.

How it is

But Israel paid a price for the early rollout. Health officials, and then Pfizer, said their data showed a dip in the vaccine's protection around six months after receiving the second shot.

I would first check the list of exemptions- if any- and build the plans on that.
Also it's a bit hard to guess not knowing the country involved, but in my experience Universities in countries where education has to be paid for by the individual are bending backwards not to loose the sweet tuition fees, so may be all bark and no bite, as people dropping out will affect the books in the most awful way.
If it's one of the countries where education is "free" (aka only taxpayer founded) it's completely different story, as the readers are usually treated like dirt already and the organisation will get the money based on beginning of the academic year numbers from the gov regardless.
I hope yours is in the first category and will work around you if you hint at moving to another uni with your tuition money.

That info was mentionned in an other thread but it might be worth to mention or re-mention if someone else already posted it about iverctimin-chan in Japan.

Article from https://www.nikkei.com/article/DGXZQOFB25AAL0V20C21A1000000/

Haruo Ozaki, chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical Association, recommended urgent use of the drug at a press conference on the 9th, mainly to prevent the aggravation of home caregivers in order to respond to the spread of the new coronavirus infection. He emphasized that antiparasitic drugs such as "ivermectin" should be administered to corona-infected persons, saying that they have been shown to be effective in preventing aggravation overseas.

In addition to ivermectin, he called for the government to approve the use of the steroidal anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone. Mr. Ozaki said, "(Both) have few side effects. I would like the government to consider treatment at the level of the family doctor."

Both ivermectin and dexamethasone are prescribed domestically. However, it has not been approved as a treatment for corona. As of the 8th, there are about 1,600 home recuperators in Tokyo, and about 1,600 infected people who are "under adjustment" because the hospitalization destination has not been decided. How to deal with sudden changes in the physical condition of home care patients who are often mild or asymptomatic is also an issue.

Mr. Ozaki emphasized that the number of newly infected people in Tokyo per day is "reducing the number to about 100 is the way to improve the situation from April to June." On the 9th, 412 newly infected people were confirmed in Tokyo.
