I think they've already tested the waters on that; remember back in...what was it, March? His "speaking to reporters" where you could clearly see him being composited into the image, I mean, his hand clips through a boom mic at one point. Google has gone nuts burying any unedited clips, they've got all their ducks in a row (Politifact, Snopes, etc.) suppressing it, but it's obvious to anyone with fucking eyes that's what was going on. But it sort of blew up on them, so they've got to refine the process a little bit more to get the Weekend at Bernies-ing down pat.

Technology and buildings standards have been improved since Katrina to accomodate for stronger hurricanes, similar to how Hurricane Ike required Florida to approve of hurricane proofed housing. It's mostly why noone cares about hurricanes in Florida anymore. I wouldn't expect it to be that form of disaster on par with Katrina.

I'd look out for the eviction moratorium kicking majorily Biden voters out of their residences. If you thought CA and NY were bad with homelessness, you haven't seen anything yet.

Oh, I absolutely agree that Palin wasn't perfect. But then I'd say that Trump wasn't perfect either. I said this once before but I guarantee that there is some kind of program to be able to deep-fake Biden so that the American public can be "reassured" in an emergency if something happens to him / he's unfit.

I don't imagine it's intended to be a long-term solution but the tech to do this exists, the motive to do it exists and the resources are more than available. If something bad happens and Biden is kept to short tele-conferences only with no journalists / foreigners present, they're test running the system. Honestly, just on logic alone it's less likely that such a system doesn't exist than does. And I would imagine they'll have such a system in place for every president going forward. Expanding on this, I'd make it everyone above the rank of or equivilent to Colonel. Give them a choice, a full pension, plenty of fanfare but their silence, or just kicked out. Put a freeze on new recruits, instead begin an oversight board on everyone left above the rank of or equivalent rank to Major. If they have said anything political, regardless of side, same deal. Once you have the hollowed remains, you aggressively promote up the ranks based solely on duty and merit.
