The generals kept sabotaging Trump with the "bountygate" nonsense while he was negotiating the withdrawal, they managed to get caught with their pants down despite getting an extra 4 months because of Biden unilaterally breaking Trump's treaty, they absolutely botched this with the intent of ensuring the forever war grift could continue.
I can't wait to watch an attempted resumption of combat blow up in their faces, and if it doesn't happen my attitude towards the anti-war left will reach new lows.

Last time they ruled Afghanistan for not even six years. They invited the Arabs to come back in and what happened. The Arabs brought in the Americans and the Taliban went back to living in the mountains for 20 years.
The Taliban doesn't want that shit happening ever again. If some Arabs operating out of Afghanistan blow shit up in the United States again, the Taliban goes back to living in the mountains again. The US would bomb the shit out of them and arm the anti-Taliban Afghans, of which there are a lot of, to the teeth. The CIA sets up its import guns export opium business again. The Taliban don't want any of that shit.

There's already law that allows for the drafting of certain classes of professionals into military service if the government decides it needs them
A regular draft would require congress to pass a bill starting it back up and the president to sign it

1: The draft bill is fairly narrowly tailored, and a new bill is what I mentioned.
2: You'd be surprised, the last invocation of the draft was Vietnam, since there has been SCOTUS precedent added that raises into question whether the draft, let alone full conscription, would be constitutional.

Simply put, it's not happening, at least anytime soon. The only way Biden can throw out more free money at the moment is if there's a pot of federal cash under his purview not already spent that an executive order can channel into the purpose. Trump for example did this before the election when Pelosi refused to consider it, he took some of the earlier emergency funding Congress approved and handed it out via EO.
Unless that massive reconciliation bill passed at the start of this year has funding left over Biden can tap into, there will be no third stimmie check unless Congress approves it - and I wouldn't bet money on that happening given the current Senate composition.

So I just woke up and quickly read the last 60 pages in a few minutes and I could gather this:

-It seems like Kabul is going to turn into a bloodbath, the attacks have already started from both ISIS and the Taliban
