I hope someone points out to Lucas that neighbourhood watch is a game where participants join a community of their neighbours to keep a lookout for sketchy pedos leering from the bushes in order to deter opportunities for crime.

Since we've recently speculated about the reasons why Lucas is so autistically into board games, and whether it's a sincere interest, an attempt at attracting a mate, an outlet for his insanity, or some combination, I have a new theory: a while ago I speculated that one of the reasons why Lucas used to make so many videos rejecting people from staying with him, and listing all the reasons he would not date a woman, (despite the fact that no one was asking to stay with him, and that he had no opportunity or position to reject any potential mates) was because the sense of doing the rejecting, rather than being the one reject-ED, gave him a feeling of power and control that he doesn't have in any other aspect of his life.
Any other aspect, that is, other than the fantasy world of board game creation, where Lucas is like God in Populous: he makes the rules, he makes the decisions, he decides the routine, etc.
So essentially, thinking about board games allows Lucas to focus on something other than his horrible reality, and so he chooses to focus on a fantasy world where he makes all the rules.
This seems to me very consistent with his narcissism and his extreme desire to control people and demonstrate his own maturity and authority. What could be more mature, and a bigger display of authority, than being a God-figure, a literal world-shaper?
The fact that this display of authority is over a fantasy setting doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would bother Lucas very much, considering how reality and fantasy are completely entwined within his everyday worldview. Don't ever forget that Lucas legitimately thinks that he's found some undiscovered scientific principle about creating genetically perfect offspring, and he also thinks that his rants over the past 5 years have stimulated the population of Spokane to be interested in the sort of "Age Gap love" that he finds so attractive, so much so that they've actually thusly dedicated an area of town, (like a gay district, or red-light area) with bars specifically catering to this sort of connection. He thinks that he has this level of influence over the real world. This goes above and beyond CWC thinking that celebrities or Miyamoto would see his YouTube videos; no, this is a level of presumption of omnipotence that is wholly mad.
I would imagine that after a while "creating board games", Lucas would start to think of himself as being a very senior, very mature sort of individual. It would give him cockiness, because he would translate being a Creator in this fantasy world to an equivalent position IRL, and the resulting ego-boost would be the same.

That Mallon Place facility sounds like a fine place for our favorite lolcow, Lucas Werner. It sounds pretty banged up and from the reviews, apparently it is in a fairly bad neighborhood. But Lucas is in the same economic class as the Gen Z baes now. So, what's the problem? He may as well walk down to Post Street and head into Bistango.

You are right, it is in a terrible neighborhood. Lots of shitty apartments, houses that are run by slumlords and the jail is on Mallon. It is rough for sure, and that's why Lucas isn't screaming that much there and waits until he gets downtown to scream.
