Well, my job just announced we are no longer actively doing what I would consider as contact tracing. Can't go into specifics without power leveling just way too hard but it doesn't make sense given the delta scare/the daily numbers. There also used to be a daily chart that said what % of ICU beds were occupied but it has been omitted as of today. Mighty big coinkydink. I'm sure all of this has nothing to do with the fact the public health representatives knew this virus would become endemic and they just want you to take their trial vaccines. Nope, that's impossible.

Why must we make everything political? I feel like writing some of these companies to tell them to take over their reddits since it's such a miserable way to have part of their audience being treated. At the least if they want to ban us, then I would know not to support them, but a third party blocking a topic over such reasons is just assinine. I wouldn't bring up an unrelated topic in a fucking video game, no matter how important it is too me.

No New Normal has been banned already. I don't know what the mods for those subs want. The scream to follow the science but the science changes every couple months.

move to a place that isn't a marxist shithole. i live in a boston suburb and it's apparently difficult to get a job lined up all the way over in AZ from here so i'm just gonna camp out in new hampshire and work from home until i save up enough to move there and have a decent programming job lined up

Why even leave New Hampshire? That state would by my second choice on where to live, with my first being my home state of Idaho. The only reasons why its not my #1 is the number of New Yorkers and MassHoles that visit and it's fucking humidity.

It's not banned, it's just quarantined. They want it gone and anything (and anyone) they disagree with completely silenced.

edit: I got a message saying I was banned from /r/PokemonGo for posting in NNN lmao. Ban reason is "To ensure the safety of our community, bans are being issued to members of communities who spread Covid misinformation."

well CFS is a thing, not often but it happens. it's just that "long covid" sounds so much scarier than the logic that a severe infection can fuck you up for a while even after it's gone, but now try it with "long flu" or even "long cold" afterwards and see how they react.
plus most people aren't attentive enough to notice the effect of year+ long lockdown, so them getting fat and lazy with no stamina is clearly corona's fault...

like I said CFS can and will happen, but the way the whole "long covid" shit feels is getting abused doesn't help the ones that legit suffer from it.
