R voters tend not to have the same herd mentality of the degenerate freak left.
That isn't to say the Rs don't have their issues, but if they think the person they elected in the last go-round has let them down, they hold that person accountable, aside from a few despicable untouchables [Lindsey Grahamnesty, for instance]. And if the replacement doesn't meet with the Big Club's approval, they get no grass-roots support.
This is a recurring theme with the RNC; they simply don't support R candidates that are outside the tent.
These Soros-sponsored State/Local candidates aren't doing anything magical, they're simply taking a bigwig's money and being the same despicable people they've always been - that walking corpse that is the Mayor of Shitcongo or the faggot son of terrorists that is the San Francisco County DA, for example - and taking advantage of the fact that the Rs put no great effort into winning where they can't. A Trumpian type Republican-in-name-only [as opposed to a RINO] with wide appeal, who breaks from the traditional R platform that's been holding them and who isn't afraid to be a leader and is willing to take all the slings and arrows they way Trump did could probably unseat some of these extremists, but they'd have to be independently wealthy, have no problem giving up some of it and have no qualms about the hit to personal reputation that came along with it.
They'd also have to have the courage to be a leader, a quality that far too few people have circa ClownWorld2021.

Seriously, and I mean this in a positive way, it reminds me of old school Something Awful in the early 2000s. Lots of people aggregating stuff, professionals posting with insight (doctors, lawyers, military) and freedom of speech. And back then the media wasn't nearly as propagandaized.

Yup, and perhaps the most sinister implication of that behavior is that it shows their complete and utter lack of loyalty and investment towards their own communities. If they had legitimate respect for their communities and their homes, they'd do everything they could to be well-informed and well-versed on the inner-workings of their local governments and bureaucracy. But as mentioned a few pages earlier in this thread, you'll unfortunately find that a lot of these "rootless" people, despite how much they bleat about the importance of "our democracy", can't even name their local mayor, or H.R. Representative, and all the smaller-but-significant developments in their local infrastructure. Don't get me wrong, if someone has to go to another state (or country) to fix their station, they should. But is it too much to ask for people to show a little bit of legitimate care for their local community, at least to the extent to get involved and try to fix the problems that face it?

In red states, you will sometimes look at local county offices and see Dems where you think you wouldn't. In these cases, they are usually DINOs whose beliefs don't really differ from right wingers. The Dem I voted for last November for a local office ran on a Dem ticket just so she could run at all. Strangely it was also for a position where political party doesn't really matter.

Democrats have been winning fewer and fewer counties since Obama onwards, but they still win enough to have control, unfortunately. "Fortification"/electioneering always helps too, whether it just be ballot harvesting or more intricate measures implemented to "secure" elections.

The first couple of seasons of Charmed are kind of comfy with the family dynamic and Shannon around. A shame she got stuck with a bad reputation deal, as Shannon is a good actress and deserves a lot better than she got deal-wise.I watched Charmed a lot as a child with my sisters here overseas. Makes me nostalgic of simpler times back then. Never knew the shit that went behind the background. Both her and Rose are their own kinds of fucked in the head these days.

Off-topic but GoG has Alpha Centauri and the expansion pack on sale for $1.50 right now. A 500Mb game older than most of those Marines killed, it holds up very well and has been my go-to distraction from the slew of bad news recently. Spartans are best faction not Hive! Edit: it was designed to run on Windows XP so could probably run on a smart toaster, no tablets or smartphones though mobilefags get rekt.
