Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

In all honesty, some adult needs to take responsibility when their little knothead is running around at 2am stealing cars and robbing liquor stores at the age of 13. I wish they'd start punishing the adults that spawn those hellions.

A kid died recently in my city after being beaten with a hammer. They interviewed grandma until two days later they finally found mom. Looked like they drug that bitch out of the nearest crack house.

There's so many hands in the cookie jar here. Biden seemed like the best choice because he's such a stupid greedy little puppet. He's owned front and back. I still think that the plan was to play up the "violent right winger" thing for months while pushing Ice Cream Joe, to build sympathy before they give him the JFK treatment. There's so much weird shit though.

I mean, the election. They could have stolen it without leaving so much evidence. They wanted enough evidence to piss people off without cluing in the 50% of the populace who can't find the ocean on a map. They wanted violence so bad, and you can tell they don't know what to do since the Qanon Menace never really attacked. That was going to be how they got their mandate. Without the White Supremes Terror Violence, they have nothing.

I'm so confused about Afghanistan though. Basically all of the pigs wanted to stay in. The MIC loves it. Intel loves it. Corporations love it. Basically the only Biden-friendly people who would want to get the US out are the Commies and, like, voters? How the fuck did it happen then?

I mean, I don't disagree. The question is really about how much damage the admin will sustain continuing to prop him up. Somehow getting rid of him is worse than every other option, which means constantly taking damage to keep him there.

If I recall they nearly invaded over destabilization.

Pakistan put significant effort into destabilizing Afghanistan (And Afghanistan spent effort destabilizing then in return, at least before the Soviets went in)

In the 90s I think the refugees and chaos got so bad the Iranians nearly went into Afghanistan themselves, only to be stopped I believe by the Americans of all people telling them no. The Americans did end up going in later so yeah.

So in short the Iranians will accept some of them but aren't particularly happy about it. I don't think their economy could support them going in this time though.

It matters a lot more than you think. A leader who has lost respect can't push an agenda. All of this is Biden's katrina, revealing the fundamental weakness of his administration and destroying any credibility. It's like his Black Wednesday, which killed the Major government's momentum (which was already shaky after backstabbing Thatcher) even though it stayed in nominal power until 1997. Or Chirac losing the referendum on the treaty for the constitution of the EU (which the French rejected by a wide margin at the time). In each case, there's a clear line beyond which they lose political standing and the ability to force a policy agenda. Biden is walking dead now. He might stay in the whitehouse until 2024, but he won't be able to do much of anything without constant pushback and roadblocks.
