DSP is so full of himself that he can ONLY play music that involves HIM! Just like the chat can only talk about HIM.

But there's a reason why the chat barely engages with him, they get called idiots, morahs, get banned, get ignored, or the "I dunno what that means *goat laugh*"

He just said he was sent three tips by Graceful Phoenix, "Who is OiC," between breaks.
He 'read the message' that came with it, but wasn't really reading anything, and was paraphrasing OiC sucking his dick and praising him for always knowing best.
He did not state the value of these tips, which, as always in these cases, is extremely sleazy.

So he is placated by a money influx that he didn't even have to beg for.

Phil is also now saying that, as he gets older, he's having trouble keeping track of 'everything going on' during action-oriented games, like Hades.
But he could get better at it if he played more of those games. So it's because of age that he's slow, but he could get really good if he tried. Okay.

I’m predicting his first escape tonight in hades. He bought the final revive, he’s gonna be able to upgrade weapons, he would have to colossally shit the bed or get unlucky with RNG.

that being said he might be trying to prove me wrong, his brain is working extra boomery tonight

and it looks like he’s got some loser ready to give him money whenever he needs an in game explanation…but he can’t upgrade the weapons this run, still think it’s 50-50 on the escape, playing far away with the gun will let him be a coward easier

Watching DSP play a game you have played/are playing is probably one of the most infuriating experiences in existence. I'm an old boomer and I don't keep up with all the hawt new releases, so I have been spared from this brand of suffering until now. Having played the shit out of Hades and loving every minute of it, this is pure torture.

He mentioned tonight that people said they liked the hats but they weren't really getting to see them very often, so he flipped it with the vest goal to get hats more often.

The real answer is that the hats have failed to bait money as the vest did. Instead of realizing that there is a fundamental problem with the hats being lame, Phil has taken the vest and moved it to $150 with the belief that people are still hyped about the vest and will pay for it while they wouldn't for the hats. Maybe as a side benefit, people will also get more hyped about the hats because they're cheaper. This is a ploy to try to establish $150 as 'normal' because he has regularly stalled at $100 the last few weeks.

He has couched this in the nonsense about it being for the viewers because he had to backpedal on his promise not to move the vest goal when he increased the tips goals because it would be unfair to do so. It is one of those quiet things that he has done that is severely greedy and hypocritical, but it's just minor enough that its easy to gloss over.

EDIT: Someone just called Phil out for the $100 tip animation still showing the vest. He says he'll have to contact the maker since it isn't accurate, but 'how often do we get a $100 tip'. He also just alluded to the vest/hat switch as being for 'this month'. This sure seems like a sloppy initiative with questionable motivations.

It’s the opposite for me, seeing him be an absolute idiot is hilarious, hades is the only time I actually watch a restream. Knowing he game pretty well makes me appreciate his stupidity all the more

the dude has one boon on with the divine dash and is like “yeah this is good” like he just discovered some super complex or unique build. You’re using the gun with the best dash in the game retard, calm down lmao

he got a really good hammer right away with the no reload, I’m feeling his first escape

To some extent I agree. You can truly appreciate how fucking awful he is at a game (in a 'so bad it's good' way) if you have more knowledge about said game. But on the other hand, it's like watching some uncultured swine pour steak sauce over a perfectly seared piece of A5 Wagyu.

Who really knows? In my opinion, it’s just so DSP can say that he tried something. It’s completely arbitrary, and typical LAZY Phil. A logical and clear-thinking person would realize in a second that switching a hat for a vest is pointless, and ask themselves why an audience would respond to an extremely minor change like that. Out of all the things he could do to improve his streams, he chooses to do something that requires literally zero physical or mental effort. And I’m sure he thinks it’s a brilliant, galaxy-brained move.
