He hasn't learned anything at all. Instead of learning the enemies' movements, he continues to facetank them. What makes this run even more horrible, the weapon of choice is a long ranged one.

He’s doing a lot of damage with this build, but he really just has no rhyme or reason to his movements. I know it might look chaotic watching someone play a fast paced game like this, but you need to be thinking on your feet and not just doing whatever.

he dashed right into a trap in that “rng room” where he lost two lives, and in general he clearly just can’t keep up or see wtf is happening on screen. He got shot by an arrow and thought it was a spear trap, and he got hit so many times by Theseus’s spear throw even after killing the Minotaur. It’s so fucking easy to see him targeting you and just being mobile for a few seconds, and he kept eating them by standing still.

He was like this with his YouTube partnership too. He would tell us with a straight face how other people tell him how horrible machinima was and he didn’t care because he got a lot of money (he clearly said this in his “the good the bad and the weird conclusion” video about machinima)

In what capacity does Phil 'deserve' $70, exactly? For swapping the hats to $100, or for a really great rant berating his fans for not giving him enough money?

It's likely him. SBM has a bit of an entitlement streak that's reflected here - he was pissed that Twitch didn't give him affiliate when he had one really successful stream, despite not meeting their criteria. He openly complained that they didn't make an exception and give it to him, even though he only had to stream a couple more times to fully qualify.
This fits that MO.

EDIT: Thanks to @Anon Dimwit below who pointed out it was full partner, not affiliate. I guess Twitch really hates accessibility.

Blind Tard was looking for full partner, not affiliate. Sorry to nitpick but Brandon's entitlement goes way beyond wanting affiliate.
