It wouldn't surprise me if some localities try to implement their own extended moratoriums even if all it does it delay the inevitable and make things worse.

In my part of Kiwi Land, over 75% of the federal funding earmarked for rent and utility assistance has not been doled out yet because hardly anyone has applied because the moratorium(s) being extended indefinitely until now. Needless to say, it was expected that more people would suddenly be applying for that money and those in charge would start promoting it more.

News of a reported Mu variant makes me wonder if this is the latest happening to keep everyone in a heightened state of fear uncertainly and doubt. Even some of the doomers I know are starting to feel as if they wish the could get off the clown world ride.

Some advice: Every time you don't know what's true anymore, you believe one thing but "reality" is telling you another, and you ask yourself, "Am I crazy?", that's proof that the gaslighting is working. Not that this helps you determine what's any more true.

In Bongland the NHS advises on their website that people who recovered from le coof may be still showing positive for a few months after, so should not be tested. Also regardless of how you feel you are required to remain home for the duration of quarantine (10 days from being informed of the positive test result))
An anecdote for you- after my partner's sickness we didn't know of this rule and wanted to be extra sure before he went back to work [tbh he was still unwell and his dick of a manager was pushing for him to get back to work no matter what, so he was hoping this will shut the guy up], so did the lateral flow test at home (the one akin to the pregnancy test), the result of which was negative, and the PCR one, which came back positive. He was not ordered to stay home this time around though, due to his newly acquired "recovered"status.

The first set (it's been posted before here) is really worth a watch. It's Robert Malone (inventor of mRNA vaccine technology) and two other blokes discussing the vaccines, issues with VAERS, treatments such as ivermectin and fluvoxamine. Warning in advance, one of the guys on there, Steve, is fucking annoying imo and loves the sound of his own voice. But if you can sit through him fellating himself, it's a good video to watch.

I haven't watched all of them yet, but the ones with just Malone are really good to listen to. What he says just makes sense. And sense is hard to come by nowadays.

So what, Tamiflu for COVID?
IIRC there's debate over whether or not Tamiflu works at all, but when I got the flu back in 2019 I was over it in two days after getting Tamiflu the morning I woke up with a fever. (I knew I likely had the flu from being around someone else that had come down with it.)
