So it says he is at 250 members now. Did he add a new emote, or is the number bullshit?
The number is clearly bullshit, as in Phil cracked the whip and had someone make a bunch of fake accounts.

But yeah, he was talking about the emote earlier.

There is no way Phil will want to miss out on his Halloween spergaton, even if he has to cheat.

There’s more than money at stake, it’s his ego: Remember his words: “We’ve ALWAYS had a Halloween marathon because we’ve always reached the tops goal!”

I'm just wondering if he actually added one, because that would mean there are currently 250 members.

You may not like it, but this is what a successful stream from a successful streamer looks like:

I still don't know what to really think of it.
What purpose or reason that is he doing this?
What prompted him in the first place was it okay to start randomly looking at his email and reading off a behind the scenes tip that can towards the goal? What's preventing him from getting one and acting like he never got it? Is he just trying to entice some fake hype train shenanigans where he will get more money since he's much closer to another shitty tips goal?

I have so many questions about this but I know for a fact this is some shady shit.
My guess of a theory is that OMM/Bobbajo/SilentBob/chris is PlanetJeff, and he gives Phil $1000/month. But, since Jeff got doxed, he wants it to be hidden, so Phil agreed to separate the big contribution into little contributions every day to make it seem legit and to not make it obvious that it's Jeff. Plus, it enables Phil to look like he has a successful business with lots of people that give him money, not just a handful of drooling lonely retards. Also, the SilentBob $37 tips started soon after Jeff disappeared.

Yeah sorry, in American English flapjacks and pancakes are synonymous because the English language is already a trashfire so what's one more piece of bullshit

No, no, I can't handle that. I can almost admit this is a biscuit:

...because it kind of looks like shortbread. Which is a biscuit. Not a scone, which that is! You also have to pronounce scone exactly like I'm saying it. As though you're better than everyone else.

No wonder Philip is scared to go out by himself. I imagine him literally trying to fill his car up with gas from the free air compressor.

I wanna take this opportunity to say thank you for this updates, because god knows i dont have the time nor the willpower to power through any dsp streams. Your contributions make mentally-ill detractors like me survive the exposure to the gout-vortex.

If it hasnt been mentioned yet, I'm quite positive when dsp was on twitch, OiC would swoop in and hit the sub goals by donating hundreds upon hundreds of subs so no wonder why the sub goals on YouTube are harder to reach. It would he clock work. OiC would come in around the last couple days of the month and start dumping Subs. We finally see what dsps tru sub count is.

I know this is a days old topic at this point, but regarding Phil saying that restaurants prepare food days in advance and it's called "prep"... he isn't entirely wrong. Minor PL but my dad worked as a chef in several restaurants so I have some behind da scenes knowledge of the restaurant biz. There is a type of restaurant that does prep days in advance, in the biz they're known as "failing restaurants" and curiously enough the most hardworking chef in every single one of them is some dude named "Mike" what a coincidence huh?

Phil is begging for tips and members, in other words sky is blue and pig is fat

Chat......is filled with Karls again, effectively derailed the stream

Kghalion is in there to guide the pig again

SwagginZ having a hard time understanding slow streams while Snowkarl trolls on the side as usual

Swaggins has just as much understanding of streaming culture as Phil.

People like seeing streamer play older games for 2 big reasons. Nostalgia, and no fear of spoilers.

Modern/new releases can draw in viewers who basically want to use them as reviews or see gameplay. But, if there's a chance of spoilers in a series they're interested in, they're not going to tune in because they want to experience the story themselves. I never played Psychonauts so I'm going off of what I picked up from internet osmosis, but I thought it was popular because of the story/writing, not because it's a platforming masterpiece. Now, if the streamer was passionate and excited about playing it, that could still carry a stream, but Phil doesn't care about it and is more focused on the fact it isn't drawing in views.

If there's one thing that fails to get much discussion and attention from popular media, it's easy single player games. Horror games are the exception to this like Little Nightmares and Resident Evil, but for the most part no one's interested in watching someone plow through a one-and-done game with no struggle.
Watching someone struggle is the crux of streaming, that's why the most popular games are PVP like League of Legends. Phil struggles with everything, and while that gives him a niche of milking money from gullible retards who want to feel useful by paying him to handhold, no one wants to watch him get confused by Cereal-Box Mascot Platformer #8945.
As @Cyber Bowling said, the only games that can bypass this is because of nostalgia, or if the streamer tacks on some "challenge rules" like a Pokemon Nuzlocke or what have you.
I mean what do I know, I don't have 13 years of streaming experience.

Prep work like sauce or protein that is wrapped are the only things that come to mind that are good for 24+ hours. Any vegetable prep work besides broccoli needs to be done daily. Any restaurant would have marks off for food that has expired. The exception would be making vegetable kits that were pre cooked (so they can be microwaved when an order comes up) and can be stored safely for about 2-3 days. Any restaurant now especially with Covid restrictions would be following guidelines tightly. Once again Phil has no idea what he is talking about.
