reddit General

@Synthwave Obsessed you know why that is? Reactions aren’t anonymous.

Going through someone’s post history and negrating everything is a great way of making YOURSELF look like a butthurt faggot.
That's a good distinction. Additionally, posts don't tell you how positive or negatively rated they are. I've noticed that if a post is at 0 on Reddit, even if it is correct, it's more likely to get downvotes just because Reddit doesn't think. They use that stupid little number under a post to tell them how to think.

This withholding sex stargetgy is stupid as shit, not every women gives a shit about the abortion law and the men can have sex with those women instead.

Once this outrage blows over these women are gonna cry that their boyfriends cheated on them with a non psycho bitch that doesn’t withholds sex for politics.
Sex strikes have historically only ever worked in extremely patriarchal societies to end pointless unprofitable conflicts that the men already wanted to end but didn't want to look like they were backing down from. Their only real power is giving egotistical fragile males a face-saving out, because they'd rather admit they're pussywhipped than afraid of the ops.

I've also found that holding an unpopular opinion on the Farms is not synonymous with being an evil, terrible person who should be shunned forever the way it is on Reddit.

It's only the people who are consistently butthurt autistic faggots about their unpopular opinions that start to get a reputation. I've not seen a forum where arguments are so rarely taken personally.

There's already new variant btw, which apparently, can render vaccines irrelevant.

Most people who come here often seem to come to this conclusion. At first its "Oh my god how could someone even say that." Only to then realize that people say and think wild shit but they often don't define their entire lives around having one or two wacky opinions. Most people here are... I hesitate to use the word "normal" given I'm sure some of you faggots here are drunk basement dwelling weebs who will become trannies, but close enough to normal.

Unless you're a reddit janny.

Then its thunderdome for autistic retarded spergs who ONLY define themselves but what is on reddit. I wish I could say I found the behavior of reddit jannies surprising or shocking in how quickly they are willing to utilize any level of power to censor others, but sadly, its not even a new low. It's just a new middle for them.\

EDIT: Also welcome post merger. Hopefully you don't find this new reality defined by Sonichu too disorienting.

Articles have been saying every new variant "may" be this or "could" be that for months now and it's usually just baseless fearmongering.

I've given up caring at all until claims are well-established and even then I want to read the study.

@Nykysnottrans
"I did not see that coming!" after the powermod chatlogs leaked and they were shown to be conspiring to do this exact shit.

"NNN was banned for sending their users to other subs, they tried to push ideas on other communities!" after the jannies literally made a sitewide post seen by millions. After jannies were ordering global scrutiny and encouraging brigading against NNN.

🤡 🤡 🤡 and I cannot emphasize this enough, 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡 🤡
It's so disgusting and so very Reddit. What a dump is has turned into.

I can't quote @norbo's post because of that bug, so I'll have to do it like this.

Most people here are... I hesitate to use the word "normal"

From what I've seen, a lot of people here are also the diaspora from other, older sites and they've set the culture.

When I was a teenager, I might've gotten belligerent about somebody calling me an idiot. Fast forward 20 years and I'm much more likely to think "eh, I probably am an idiot and slapfighting on the internet is gay anyway".

EDIT: I guess it would technically be the polar opposite of "diaspora". Whatever.

Outside of Thunderdome tards, posters here are first and foremost just trying to have fun pointing and laughing at retards. If you’re getting genuinely angry and upset at retards instead of laughing and having fun, then why are you even here?

I think the big focus on having fun and not taking everything so fucking seriously leads to more genuine engagement and conversation, versus the performative posturing on Reddit where the main goal isn’t to engage in discussions but to virtue-signal and farm fake Internet points with shitty recycled jokes and references.

Kinda how the circlejerk subreddits are usually more fun and informative than the subreddits taking their interest seriously.

Although KF has the benefit of being able to go "lmao u fag" and instantly de-escalate any genuine anger.

It's not disabled nor a feature, it's a glitch

Note for the confused: If you hover over the reply link on other posts you'll see that the reply URL is of the form

https://kiwifarms.net/threads/<topic>/reply?quote=<postnumber>
So if you just head on over to the upper right corner of the post you're trying to quote you'll see a URL ending in

post-<postnumber>
Just copypaste that postnumber into the first URL and, presto, you can quote.
