Since 1999 has anything changed in America.

Still the Land of Opportunity

“All of this is by way of a caution: Whatever the broader trends in economic and social mobility, there may be enclaves that get left behind. Moreover, one can argue that it is this subgroup-and their lack of mobility-that should be our main concern. The very existence of such a group threatens our sense of social cohesion and imposes large costs on society. Its nexus with race is particularly disturbing.”

I vaguely recall these planes crashing into some buildings shortly after that...then this war happened for like 20 years...then in 2008, some stock market shit fucked up the industry I was working in, then in 2012 or so I ended up mandelaing into clown universe or some shit and now the world makes no sense. Now there's some shit about government mandated vaccine passports that will force me to be a second class citizen unless I acquiesce and make big pharma and corrupt politicians more money by taking some experimental bullshit into my body..

Yeah a few things sure have changed.

Also, Acid was more plentiful and there was no fentynyl.

And faggots didn't determine popular society.

I would kill to be able to rewind the world to 1999 and get a second chance to try and prevent things from going completely batshit insane.
I feel ya, but things could have absolutely been ok after 2010, however people decided that instead of making the world a better place it'd be much more fun to spaz out and ruin everything and here we are.

Things diverging in a better way after 1999 would be the ideal, but I'd settle for things diverging in a better way after 2010.

Civil liberties have been eroded greatly in the Western world since 1999.

The Patriot Act did a lot of harm that we are still dealing with today. Despite the main provision having expired a few years ago.

TLDR: Never let the government give itself more power, they will never give it back.

That's the Berenstein Timeline.

+ 9/11 never happened
+ no endless "war on terror"
+ no Katrina
+ no endless recession
+ no "social" media getting invented (yet the Arab Spring was still a thing)
+ no endless woke
+ no endless "New Normal"
+ Hollywood is still creative

It's almost impossible to imagine what the world would be like without those things.

But if only since 2010 when people started on their anti-white and anti-male bullshit they had simply been told to take a fucking chill pill things would be ok now.

I guess it could be like the '90s - or better - if this so far disturbing new millennium wasn't.

Seems if one is trapped in hell, it's hard to know what it's like in Heaven or even inbetween...

But for this future to be brighter, the powers that shouldn't be would likely have to had been removed from power. Seems the future sucks because they want it to suck: they want to rule hell.

I feel sorry for people who never got to see the 90's. I have a feeling it will be considered the last great American decade.
