Why does he lie about watching Wrestling? It's so fucking obvious he watches every WWE show they have...

Is he embarrassed about it, or is this to fit the narrative that he doesn't play champions? Or is it just pathological in that he can't help but lie about every detail in his life.

I mean, nobody really cares if he watches wrestling. The reason him playing champions is an issue is because he is feigning distress constantly and taking advantage of his viewers who are largely disabled people just to dump the funds into bullshit like that mobile game.

I think he's embarrassed. Wrestling fans are usually the punchline of jokes online. What's funny is, it seems like a decent amount of his wheelchairs enjoy wrestling, and at the very least, nobody seems to really look down on it in his chat. Yeah, outside his community he'd get mocked for it, but it's not like he gets any kind of respect. People have plenty of other stuff to mock him for, I feel like enjoying wrestling ranks significantly lower than jerking off on stream, lying about your dead parents/sick cat, threatening to beat up a 10 year old, declaring bankruptcy etc.

Actually, there might be a little bit of fear, too. I bet he's still haunted by the "Get a job DSP" sign. I could see him being paranoid enough to think that if he mentioned enjoying wrestling, people would constantly bring signs to events to mock him.

Now, Champions might have something to do with it too, but IIRC, his "I don't watch wrestling" nonsense was ongoing before we even found out about Champions.

I like wrestling purely from a stuntman perspective. (Well the old stuff anyway) Obviously it's fake and the drama is fabricated, but watch the 1998 Hell in a Cell and witness Mankind stand up with a tooth sticking out of his upper lip after being thrown 15 ft into a table and then begin climbing all the way back up the cage. It has its moments, that said, you won't see me wearing any wrestling tshirts in public.

When Apex Legends came out he was one of the last streamers to play it because of his "schedule" and got upset that they stealth released the game because he couldn't make his schedule around it.

Even though chat wanted to see him play it, he had to follow his schedule..
