Therapists may sometimes share a relevant emotion but for the most part you are there to fix yourself not be friends. Therapists don't want to be interrogated on how they feel when you're sharing your emotions, in part because they are meant to remain empathetic but objective. I also suspect the questions that Ripley asked them about relating to were weird sexual ones tbh.

I'm also guessing the more info Ripe Lee had on the therapist, the more control he could feel over said therapist. He's been manipulative to people trying to take care of him medically before, I wouldn't be surprised if he was trying to manipulate another, even if it was only one person instead of a whole staff. He could also be looking to only surround himself with the NON shitlords aka you must be a TRUE and HONEST Christian believer in my political reality shitlord. Obviously, that isn't what you should run and look for in a therapist but Rioley's probably not using therapy right in the slightest.

If Ravioli, here, gets state aid, SSDI, or tard services/therapy, this also goes somewhere in his permanent record. For ex: If he was using tard job search assistance, he can be ejected from the program. There are a very limited number of agencies that provide this in each city or region. If he bottoms out, he can lose gibs me dats for non-compliance.
Same for recommended group or individual therapy. His gibs, SNAP, EBT, or SSDI are likely dependent on his compliance with whatever program DRS/DHS mandates. And they are DRACONIAN with checking for compliance.

Mine too, fren. Shitheads like these seem to be coated in a layer of impenetrable Teflon. I've seen it enough in case management. It's especially frustrating because you do come across some people who could (and do) really benefit from therapy, assistance services, and temporary gibs. And with mental health, it's common to see even these people "mess up" and have bad days. But these people languish on waiting lists for months to years thanks to headcases like Ravioli.

Ripley alluded he was dropped by his latest therapist that does DBT (Dialectical behavior therapy). I know some friends that have done it to free themselves from some of their own negative behavior patterns but don't ask any details. I only know what the Wikipedia article states but it seems like a lot of "work" on the patients part guided by the therapist to have progress, change, and results. Exactly what Ripley needs but doesn't want.
