Dobson can't be bothered to look up the correct method of holding a violin.

There is only one way to hold the violin: the left hand supports the violin while the right hand holds the bow. Even left-handed and ambidextrous violinists are taught to play it that way since the instrument and music were optimized from the beginning for right-handed people.

How he fucks it up when the video gets it right is baffling.

edit: I was so triggered by the mirrored violin configuration that I didn't even initially notice that the sheet music in the background is nonsense (no key/time signature, too many/too few notes per bar, etc etc etc)

He's fucked a few more things in that pic as well, such as he gave her rain boots instead of laced up boots, blue gloves instead of purple, her skin is a little bit darker than in the vid, the stripes on her stockings are a lighter gray, and he's missing some of the blonde in her pigtails.

Edit: He's also somehow ignored the fact that she doesn't have blonde eyebrows or that both parts of her hair has dual coloring. MFGDI dobbarse.

Honestly I don't mind the picture too much because of him not using those really thik black lines and weird 'shading' technique. And the paper texture actually makes sense, for a papercut-like aesthetic. I like the colors in the background, too. Anyway, Dobson can't really say that we just nitpick at his work!! Sure he has a lot of things to improve upon but I think this is miles better than the one with Korra texting Asami.
