Of course she plays on casual. I don't know why I'd have expected anything else.

Not that we needed any more proof of this, but this is a perfect showcase of John's speedrunning adventures. Sure, he'll put on a show of trying to get the best setup possible (like his tweets a few days ago about wanting an old-school CRT for minimal input lag), but he knows he can't actually compete when it comes to games with large and dedicated communities. So instead, he goes for any asterisk he can use to show how he's totally the best in the world.*
* At a game that was just released.**
** Or a game nobody's heard of.***
*** Or an obscure category nobody runs.
Regardless, he'll always play on the easiest difficulty if there's an option to do so, and his final results will always end up outstripped by other, better speedrunners. His precious
SMB2 Peach Only All-Stars run that he was so proud of has been knocked out of the top ten, as six faster runs have been posted since his run. As for the only other game he's bothered to post a speedrun to,
RE3make, he can't claim to be the fastest PS5 runner anymore, as there are now seven runs that beat his time in his specific Any% NG+ Console category, to say nothing of how his overall time is 130th (with many runners having multiple times on the board ahead of him). Two of those are on higher difficulties, even. In fact, one of those harder runs beat his time exactly one month later, so he only held that dubious "title" for a few weeks.
I can guarantee that if he decides to try speedrunning this Aliens game, he'll post a time, proclaim how much of a badass he is, and then never talk about it again as soon as more competent runners eat his lunch.
On a side note, I would like to point out that there is exactly
one speedrun of Revolution 60 posted to the speedrun.com leaderboards, by good ol' SmegmaKing/EmptyHero. It's literally nothing more than just a shitpost stream of him beating the game that he posted to the leaderboards for shits and gigs.
