What I don't understand is that arbitrary cutoff of 100, since to be required to offer healthcare to your employees you must have 50+ workers. I would have thought they could have tied the vax to increased insurance costs but here we are.

I thought covid didn't discriminate, but apparently the removal of that one body that drops your total to 99 employees, magically makes you immune and stops the spread?

Per my Director, my employer is floating the idea of passing on the $14,000 fine to our employees if they refuse the jab. He doesn't think our legal team will buy into the idea.

Joke's on them, the place I work for is under a hundred people and run by people who generally hate the feds slightly less than I do. This will make a lot of those small business, manufacturing jobs that are available dry up though, no one will want to go above 100 people.
