the only thing I can see of entertaining value is how Phil doesn't get basic human things like stickers, indie music, underage drinking, sex and or sex appeal (that's pretty much any game), inability to suspend disbelief or separate reality from fiction, bars, human interaction, united states geography and people actually liking things he doesn't.

I don't know if anyone caught it, but Phil admitted that he sits on his Behind the Scenes tips from Bobajo/SilentBob/OMM intentionally, possibly for up to hours.

Before break, he checked to see if there was a Behind the Scenes contribution. He said he didn't think there was and that his emails have been 'massively delayed' lately.
To his (alleged) surprise, there actually was a tip that came in 'late' today, and Phil just got it when he refreshed. It was $24 from Bobajo.
Phil said he was sorry he didn't shout it out earlier.

1. If he wasn't sure if it was there and felt it was very 'late' compared to normal, when do they normally come in? And this implies he sees them before this time.
2. He never shouts it out earlier than just before break, so what's the random apology about - how was the shoutout 'late' if he never shouts it out before this time anyway?
3. Phil only recently starting reading these out before break instead of when he gets back, and this confirms that they've likely always been there before break, so he has chosen to move the time where he announces them.

Today also demonstrated the ethical issue with this because as Phil was fumbling to read this supposedly 'late' secret tip, someone tipped the $7 to hit the vest goal that was not actually needed to hit the vest goal after all. If you're going to have a goal, you can't have secret money that you're not including towards the goal.

Too bad we don't have a leaderboard any more we could check if there are any "out of bsuiness time" tips like Tevin found years ago. And what do you know Phil removed that board as fast as he could. Makes me wonder how much of his income he actually reports to the IRS and state tax offices. Tales would for sure be more engaging. whether or not you are into the anime esc thing. Life is Strange True Colors just seems slow and definitely not a "streaming" game.

Why is he checking his emails in the first place? Is it his email autism? Are the whales sending gunt pics (=verification) or the other way around? Assuming they are using PayPal, he could also F5 on his PP page. You can leave a message on your PP transactions, too. Maybe it's nothing but for some reason I do find this strange...Life is Strange. Will Phil show his True Colors?
Maybe it's massively delayed cause Hotmail is finally dying.

I would guess that there is communication and coordination between him and (among) the whales. OIC implied that much in DMs during the vest streak.

Some theories:
- He is too lazy to open a separate tab or window for PayPal.

- He has to acknowledge them via Mail/privately. If it would be just about noticing the money and tipper, Phil could achieve the same thing by checking his PayPal directly.

You'd figure after a day off the stream would be a little interesting. No. Still garbage. He had his day off buff for about half hour, goat laughing like a tard and making jokes that only he seemed to get. Then back to sitting in silence reading every piece of text to appear out loud, even when the character says it. Fun!

I bailed for some goat laughs of my own. This will forever remind me of Philip now...

Yeah, the characters are very much like what you saying. The story could be ok but the main characters power and what happens in the first 2 or 3 hours is piss boring and filled with terrible writing. Phil is going to love it though, because it's a low effort game, unlike Tales.

Since Phil reads this thread, here's an idea for him: you guys know how many companies offer plans for clients who use their services a lot, right? Like Amazon Prime, DashPass for DoorDash, Uber Premium etc. People have one bigger payment monthly and save up on certain fees.

Well, what about a Gout Pass (name still a work in progress)? Instead of tipping broken values like these whales do, with dozens of tips a month, which in turn makes PayPal steal charge more money from Phil, they could buy a Gout Pass for only 500 to 1000 dollars a month (value still a work in progress).

Seriously, Phil, imagine the hundreds of dollars that could be going to Scopely's your pockets if it wasn't for those mouth-drooling idiots you have as whales insisting on giving the money you DESERVE little by little. You know your true fans would be willing to do that.
