so what's up with Alaska?

Anchorage is the biggest city in the state, but city is a weird word for it. It's the same size as Delaware and a third of the state lives there, including pretty much all of the liberals who couldnt huff it anywhere else. So it's natural to see it be so mixed. Almost all the non-native minorities live there too, so theres that.

Fairbanks is dead center in the wilderness so naturally it's blood red. Juneau in the bottom right panhandle is the capital, so its swamp central. They're basically canadians.

Almost no one lives in those large blue areas, ESPECIALLY that northernmost chunk. Those parts are primarily just natives (who all fucking love gibs) and the occasional bushmen (who answer all polls with a bullet)
