I live in a blue state, governor supports Biden's mandate and every other Democrat policy. Places haven't been forced to shut down or reinstate capacity restrictions yet, but the mask mandate is back, places are strictly enforcing it, and vaccine mandates are in the most "formal" (woke) of places. I think we're going to get at least one more lockdown before the end of the year. More widespread vaccine mandates and passports will be rolling out soon, I just know it. For reasons I won't powerlevel about in this thread, my leaving the state would come with incredible risks, as would going to jail.

i remember you saying the mask mandates were back but only a couple places you knew actually enforced it, did that change? i'd be surprised if it got worse after the fact. there's been a mask mandate in my suburb along with (i think) the rest of metro boston for 1-2 weeks now and this afternoon i went into a convenience store to buy hard cider and the clerk wasn't wearing a mask

Yes, things have changed. Places now have "Mask Required" signs outside. I assume the gestapo made the rounds. I have yet to see anyone without a mask in a building that has a decent number of people in it and/or has security cameras.

every store in the boston area did that and almost no one called me out when i strolled in with my bare face for an entire year. try it yourself

Given that it's already breaking from the start, I wonder what the next way that they'll screw it up. And will we see them keep on trying to push for a system that isn't fully functionable, like the Oahu Rail Project at this point, or will they just submit and give up on it?
 
I actually know quite a few people who only had one shot. Some of them have actually asked ME what they should do. I dunno what to tell them, near as I can tell if you had one jab of Pfizer you're basically on the hook?

Enjoy the jab for the rest of your life I guess.

tell them that if they felt alright afterwards, get the second one if they have a reason to be vooxed. idk

She was really stupid though, if she did anything but unhygenic food prep no one would have bothered to track her down.
