Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Shit is that bad huh?

Honestly, when Trump took over the Republican, I thought it was over for them, but it seems like a lot of politicians found a new life under Trump influence, if more so indirectly, like the Florida and Texas govs and even guys who were taken as a rino like Ted Cruz found himself in a new popular light.
Yeah, i know the republicans ain't all Trump, and a lot of them kicked him when he was down after he lost, but weirdly enough, it ssems like they are at least more coherent than whatever the fuck the dems are right now.

Is there any way for them to get rid justice dems and the whole "chic" socialism they preach? Because a lot of people would say that is the shit that killed any effectiveness of the Obama presidency, and it is poisoning the dems right now, you can't get anything done, if the thing you want to be done is virtually out of a reasonable grasp.

yeah, the dems have the vantage of the big corp media being on their side, and social media as well, but these don't perform miracles, and staying in this middle ground with a limp congress and a man who is clearly not fit for the presidency can't be good for them.
In a word, no. The problem is that the Uniparty saw this burgeoning support for the democrats and actively courted it, growing a fresh crop of voters believing in their lies.

You can't just turn those voters into normal people. And what is worse, they found their own footing and own views and partially broke off from the Establishment. Yes, they are reliant on it, but are a toxic and cancerous growth on it. Neither can survive without the other, but both are killing the other.

A guilty pleasure of mine is asking WHY Orange Man is Bad. It can be argued that Trump is not a good person.
He's not! he's a braggart, a cheater, a philanderer. He has lied, stolen, and cheated like anyone else in business. He has engaged in underhanded tactics and morally dubious actions to obtain wealth and power, always remaining just the good side of the law. Anyone who looks at Trump as any sort of paragon of virtue or general role model is an idiot.

But Trump has always been open and honest that he is what he is. So while we know all that, we also know he's a man of good business acumen, a true patriot, a believer in respecting the workers underneath him. That is why he drives the left mad. They can't really dig their fangs into him to reveal a dark past to make themselves feel morally superior. Trump... is Trump. And he is honest with everyone about both the good and bad that is Trump.

Trump might not be a good person but he acts like a patriot and tries to strengthen the nation. There's plenty of people like that in history and they are still admired like Jefferson who raped his slave or JFK who was a serial adulterer. After the heights to which America rose in from 2017-2021 and the lows we are now experiencing in the same year, who cares about Trump as a person when it's obvious what we are missing out on?

This has to be some kind of new circle of hell, when you are so fucked that you need to pander to twitter politics to keep your job...

kinda feel bad for the dems right now, jeez.

Don't. This was a hell of their own making, a choice to let them retain power for decades. They helped create a Uniparty apparatus to ensure their own wealth and power while ignoring the citizens they were supposed to represent. They didn't pay the piper, and so now his song sings for more than rats.

Edit: Dammit, @Gehenna! One step ahead, as to be expected of a ninja with such skill as yourself!

You've effectively described WHY I think Trump is a good person and a role model. Only slightly kidding.

In theory Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez should have wrapped it up for the Democrats. In practice, she turned out to be one of the most self destructive politicians of all time.

ou can't just turn those voters into normal people. And what is worse, they found their own footing and own views and partially broke off from the Establishment. I actually do blame the individual voters here. Say what you will about AOC and the rest of the JD but they tend to wear suits and nice clothing. They use big words and talk about strategy. They look like politicians and other than the occasional outburst they even act the part.

Then you get to their supporters. People like Vaush, Antifa, people who sit on Twitter and scream about how cishet society won't let them fuck children. Trannies. The absolute scum of the Earth.

I just cannot see it working. Like, despite my railing against the Dems I'm not even a Republican, but I don't think I know anyone who thinks a positive statement from Bush Jr. is going to change their mind about anything. Did these people forget how disgraced Dubya was by the end of his second term? IIRC John McCain had to ask him not to try to help him on the campaign trail, that's how poisonous his name was.
Alot of people I know who voted for Trump and still surpport Trump are the same people who voted for Bush. Rinos can't accept that most conservative voters don't care about Bush anymore.
Mars Attacks has more in common with 9/11 than 1/6.

Honestly I would be lest horrified if that happened.

Here's the thing, you can blame the politicians here. They presented with their mannequin smiles what they claimed were solutions. These solutions proved to be naught by cyanide lollies. And inevitably, it infected everything. Politics working as it should, as it had prior, would have allowed real, if imperfect, solutions to be made. Instead, no solutions were done but the appearance of them was.

Is it any wonder large swathes grew disillusioned? That they'd begin to believe "If this is politics per usual, maybe we need to do something more drastic?". Those voters are a symptom of the rot, not its cause. Like poisonous mushrooms on a bog.

Thinking over it, I strongly doubt it's possible to have a political role model nowadays in terms of having a morally pure selfless politician like George Washington. You'd need a man who is able to control a nation that loved him, who was genuinely committed to the ideals of the nation to the point where he personally suffered along with other Americans despite being a wealthy man, and who gave up the chance to be the King of America. There is no one in current American politics who has the Founding Father energy and I am not sure if it is possible for one to exist in any country other than newborn countries that need a great man in order to guide them. The closest we have is Trump but he's a populist and he wouldn't sacrifice himself to the level that Washington did.

Manchin again says he will not vote for 3.5 trillion dollar "infrastructure" bill.
Manchin is angling to absolutely gut the pork in it, which will in turn just absolutely wreck the attempts to refinance the coffers. The man increasingly is angling for a governor position, and the revelation that Governors can have more power than the President may just have been the last bit of oomph he needed to go full 'fuck it'.

FYI: https://nypost.com/2021/07/01/sen-joe-manchin-talks-switching-parties-to-join-gop/ The rumblings began around July that Manchin was possibly considering switching parties. He hasn't yet out of some lingering loyalty, but that loyalty is -frayed- to hell and back.

You have got to be kidding. The guy was a marginally-competent grifter. Which still puts him at the level of a genius compared to the senile child-sniffer we have now but.. Founding Father energy?

West Virginia only prevents three consecutive terms. You may have two in a row, but cannot stand for a third in a row. So long as a term passes with you out of office, you can run again,

This is an indictment of the current political class, not a praise of Trump. I like the guy myself but I explicitly pointed out how he would not come out and suffer with the common people as Washington did at Valley Forge. The reason why I say trump is the closest thing to the founding father energy is due to his being a rich man who didn't need to put himself out there but did so out of patriotism.

It doesn't matter which party is in power. It's all fuckin' LOL's anyway. Biden is a dementia patient and Trump was a buffoon. And as a side... DEM'S and GOP's are so similar in their policies they are literally 2% apart.

Nothing will ever change (no real change) anyway. USA is and always will be tethered to a global market.
