I think its a 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom is for surfers office space the other is surfers room. It's not uncommon for a roomate to sleep on the couch when you are young and are trying to make living more affordable. I would be surprised if the rent for a rundown 2 bedroom apt. in Peterborough costs more then $1300 CDN/mo. its probably closer to $1100. Even if PPP didn't work the welfare system would cover the rent and bills, I think they can give you around $670ish per month and then you can work under the table to make up the difference.
