I just watched a nearly 40 year old man who makes a living playing games for 8 hours a day aim at a camera, equip a grenade, pull the pin and then cook it for 3 seconds before it blew up in his hand. All before his gin addled brain could realise what was going on.

"I am not enjoying hacking and grenades are on the same button"

Trainwreck of a gameplay stream.

This is the kinda shit you NEED TO SEE TO BELIEVE!

EDIT: sry but not sure if its my connection, or kiwifarts just doenst work with videos.

EDIT2:

Holy shit. I was just watching MtG cheaters, so my brain was like "okay, watch for the little glint of a gun"

When he walked away I just couldn't believe it.

Another MASSIVE begging segment + the sudden "discovery" of the obligatory behind-the-scenes tip before going on break.

"Tips are the WORST I've seen in a very long time!":

And he didn't disclose this tip...why? Stuff like this is why nobody trusts him and tips are drying up. The entire concept of "behind the scenes" tips that he chooses whether or not to disclose is so fucking shady.

Imo Deathloop isn't bad. If you like Dishonored there isn't much of a reason to dislike Deathloop. You can play Stealth, or Murder Death KILL. There is more than 1 route to get to an objective so what is DSPs problem? He likes to be negative just to be negative and lack of money amplifies that times a million.

If he were informed at all about the games industry, which he claims as his field, he would have legitimate reasons to hate Deathloop. Because Bethesda made it and they're a company of cunts. Infinitely worse than EA or whatever bandwagon people are jumping on these days.

Short story is there was a sequel to Prey. The real one, with Indians, weird gravity and a story. Bethesda were funding the project, saw something they liked, made every effort to delay and force Human Head in to a sale. They refused to sell. Bethesda ended up destroying the studio then hired as many of the unemployed devs as they could.

The sequel that never happened, was about a character who dies and is constantly spawned in the same place. At the end of the game they finally escape and live out their life. Only to die at the end and start over again. Deathloop? Meanwhile the actual Prey sequel became a reboot that was a pile of generic shit and nothing to do with Prey.Rune fans were also somewhat annoyed.

...but then 5 minutes passed and everyone forgot. Just like boycotting Blizzard. Just like not streaming on Twitch for a day because they fired Philip.

Blind man doesn't like DSP's negativity. Took you long enough to fucking notice bruh. Every day SBM gets closer to eating a ban.

you fucking lie, you get a BobbaJo/SilentBob/OneMinuteMan tip every day that you always make sure to check before your 30-minute WWE Champions break. How the fuck would you not think about it? Are the tips even real?

The whole "Please tip me completely outside of Youtube's tip system" is fucking shady from the start. I honestly can't believe YT allows it. Try to stiff eBay out of their cut by PM'ing someone about doing an offsite deal and you'll be perma-banned with a quickness.

So refreshing to have a little vintage DSP action of him just being fucking terrible at games as a break from the never-ending begging every once in a while. No doubt deathloop will get 2 streams and then banished.
Nah, he'll stretch out the spacing on the first few streams long enough for people who are competent to complete the game and put out guides. Then he'll read them and/or get more emails about how to play. He'll still fuck up stealth and shooting, but he'll start to "know" things.

I want to touch upon one of the more pathetic but perhaps overlooked aspects of DSP's current streams.

DSP obviously just started Deathloop. As he's progressing through the tutorial stage of the game, he is tasked with finding a 4-digit code to a door. DSP reaches the door (at this point he hasn't found the actual code as that required going further into the tutorial/beginning stage of the game and then doubling back) and randomly and awkwardly states that he was "told by someone" that if you put in an incorrect 4 digit code (0451) you unlock a rare achievement "easter egg trophy", but don't worry "it's not a spoiler!"

He didn't see this 0451 code in stream chat, no one commented it, it was clear someone had to have emailed and told him prior to the playthrough. In any case, what I am getting at is that DSP is no longer doing spoiler-free, blind playthroughs anymore, and he never will again. He is too afraid of looking stupid or 'wasting time' getting stuck in games that he's clearly justified spoiling games and looking up hints/guides. I think what initially started as DSP looking a few things up so he didn't appear to be a complete inept moron on stream as he couldn't navigate childrens games evolved to fully prepping playthroughs by looking up key hints/guides and relying on what I imagine a small group of the same spergs to spoon feed him advice for playthroughs. Recently, we've seen him refer to guides/email hints in his Fallout playthrough, his Nier: Replicant playthrough, and other games. Mr. 13-year begacy, game-lover is not playing the games himself anymore and it's pathetic. This fact is what has also contributed to his actual stream becoming infinitely more boring the past few years, as the salt and general buffoonery that occurred as DSP's gin-addled pea brain couldn't progress through simple challenges is less frequent with guides and gameplay preparation.

Anyways, if you're interested here is the clip of DSP ACKnowledging inputting the 0451 code to get the rare achievement (1%). Of course, this achievement doesn't have an effect on gameplay, but the fact that he coudln't ignore the achievement, clearly had it on his mind during the tutorial, and nervously stated "Not a spoiler" is all I need to see and hear to know DSP is getting spoiled on other elements of the game.

edit: to be clear, there are way more obvious and impactful examples of handholding, guide reading, and spoiling out there. This example was just amusing to me because the achievement is so specific and non-consequential.
I had a feeling he looked at videos, reviews, read some information regarding the game seeing how he acted on his pre-streams. He was hyping this shit up a few days ago saying it got good reviews (which goes against everything he's been spouting for awhile).

Out of the gates he doesn't seem to be enjoying it at all. He was more inclined to talk about the intricacies of the game than just fuckin' playing it. I never planned on playing it myself and watched a review last night, and everything he talked about and has talked about during the time I watched, comes across as he already has just as much if not more knowledge than me on the game.

TLDR: People are disappointed in it, and do not like it. Phil shares this same attitude and he's barely played it. Strange huh? Must be a really great intuitive gamer who knows how they work.

I expect him to drop this very soon.
