What made me sigh was the fact they apparently didn't even need to fudge the numbers. Honestly, expected it to be closer, but that kind of differential that early? Oh, it is. I was at a massive uni in the Midwest until recently, and this shit would happen at least every week from the university higher ups. My case was extra special because my graduate program was full of these retards who pushed some ridiculous scandals. Some of the ones I remember, without PLing too hard:

- A bunch of my classmates demanded that an employer not be allowed to have events on or near campus because they represented ExxonMobil
-Demanding that our school's dean resign because once upon a time he wrote a book that had a "racy" picture of a woman on it
-Freaking out over Jan 6 and having a special "day of healing" to get over it
- Various attempts to shame our version of the Young Republicans for being eebil nahtzees, including demanding that they deplatform an invited guest speaker because he opposed legalizing gay marriage.

It's really all so tiresome.

I'm in one of the 'no' districts that got hit hard by the fire last year and this really feels like fuckery is afoot. People around here REALLY hate Newsom and the by-county vote totals are showing twice as many no votes as yes ones.

eta: A friend in one of the inconsequentially small counties on the other side of the state is saying the same and that it seems even more blatant when the total voting pool in the entire county is <5K and everyone has at most one or two degrees of separation from everyone else.

Newsom seems to have survived this recall (and remember: if he were popular, he wouldn't be getting recalled) by a higher margin than he actually won his election back in 2018. This does not add up at all.

Our human intel networks suck and have for years. The CIA and NSA and the other intel entities are far too enamored of electronic intelligence. They love their toys. Human intel, on the other hand, is difficult to come by and requires a level of trust on both sides. It's hard to acquire and hard to maintain. Lots of intelligence failures over the last 25 years make a lot more sense when you understand that the intel community doesn't have anyone on the ground and doesn't trust human intel anyway, unless it's confirmed by electronic intel.

As I understand it, the FSB in Russia has done a great job rooting out our human intel sources, and I imagine the CCP has done a similarly thorough job. And, as you can see from stories that do get publicity, the Russians and especially the Chinese do place great value on human intel. The Chinese in particular are always seeding agents into the US by way of utilizing university students and academics.

Of course, it's a lot easier to find out who's been talking outside of school when you're handed actual lists of the traitors, as has happened with the Chinese and probably the Russians. I think that the Russians were personally handed the intel by Hilary Clinton during her 'Reset Button' phase, as a (beyond retarded) gesture of 'goodwill'. The Chinese have probably gotten their information from several sources, from elected officials and appointed administrators at all levels of US Gov. And, of course, both Russia and China are very good at electronic intel themselves. There's no telling what systems they've penetrated and what they've learned.

another reason we love electronic intel vs human intel is that electronic intel means millions in funding for contractors to supply the gadgets used in electronic intel. meanwhile the best human intel can be had for free essentially: a woman pretending to be enamored by some higher-ups flirting and advances. think about how little money was spent to get the info those russian and chinese spys obtained just from flirting with congressmen and lobbyists, eric swalwell probably paid money to the chinese spy that was screwing him, so china was getting paid to receive us secrets in a way.

the last time the GOP had a real shot at control Reagan was still in office, people seem to forget that amnesty bill passed late in his term had a veto proof-majority. the game was rigged since the start. if you don't control the media or the schools eventually you end up dancing to their tune, the GOP didn't realize that back during the "fireside chat" era and still hasn't learned it. the entire party is full of retards who would rather lose honorably than prove the kikes right.

you can't trust cali's latino percentage. its majority white latino, like the lead in Psych, outside of the name, they've probably whiter than the average american and probably whiter than elizabeth warren. its like texas, a shitload of latinos can trace their history to before the state was part of the US. plus because of that a lot of them will grab that latino privilege for all its worth on surveys and polls. i knew a kid who did those nelisten surveys but would constantly use an accent on the phone and use a translator on the written surveys because it was easy money and brown spics are usually too scared/suspicious to take part.

thats another reason why california is like the only state to do away with affirmative action in college applications, even back in the 90s people knew it was people that looked like Lynda Carter stealing the spots that the government set aside for people that looked like George Lopez. combine that with how many asians were related to or knew someone that was thrown in an internment camp, affirmative action didn't stand a chance.
