Not sure what that's specifically a response to. The Chinese didn't emulate western culture because they actively looked down upon it and saw native Chinese culture as superior. The conservative Chinese leadership attempted to stifle all internal attempts at reform, such as the Self-Strengthening Movement, which, ironically, ultimately fell apart due to the disastrous loss of the First Sino-Japanese War, which undid nearly all progress, and what little changes were made were of little effect due to how conservative they were. The Japanese were able to maintain their unique culture yet wholeheartedly embraced Westernization in a way no other nation had done up to that point, China very much included. Notably, most westerners predicted that the Chinese Army would win the war over the Japanese, and many were shocked at the ultimate outcome.

Well, in Elsa’s case, it was more of the scene where she looks up at you while she stares right into your soul sucking it out of your body figuratively and literally.
It’s probably some site where you can watch webcams and do sex chats, dubbed as the “the porn version of TikTok”.
As far as I'm aware nudity is not against the TOS on tiktok but penetration is. I'm not well versed at tiktok but to me it look like they gate that content way, way better than twitter.
According to tiktok neither penetration nor nudity is allowed but there are users who can get away with it, it’s sort of like Instagram where they don’t allow users to put a link to their onlyfans but some get away with it anyway.
Basically there is a subreddit for nsfw tiktok content and the owners of the reddit take porn content from other websites but put the tiktok logo and filter on it to attract a gen z audience. A very small portion of soft core pornography actually comes from tiktok.

Because Twitter has the right politics, knows the right people, and has all the money. Just look at all the leftists giving Twitter a free pass for its censorship policies only because it targets the "right people".
Well if things go full authoritarian, there's a whole network full of reporters and collaborators, and Twitter may actually be an arm of "government services".

No one is ever going to go after Twitter, Facebook, or any of the other big social media sites, because they're a major, priceless part of the government's surveillance apparatus. Who even needs to spy when you've got your citizens broadcasting their thoughts, associations, interests, IP addresses, and realtime location to cooperative corporations who archive it all?
Also, some people say those actions are good things. As for "surveillance apparatus", that's just right wing and A and H talk...for now at least.
