There is. Courts can decline to enforce a contract for "public policy" reasons. These generally involve the actual enforcement of the contract being to compel illegal behavior. Hence, prostitution contracts are inherently unenforceable and should remain so.

I was thinking statutorily... if a sane lawmaking body were in charge of the process. Decriminalization (but not legalization) tends to keep a mess of things because of the financial sector, if nothing else. But it also makes regulation (healthwise) and reporting of other crimes (robbery, assault, etc) a lot harder. Russ seems to have not been able to have the courts force anyone to bang him in legal brothels, although that's not saying much.

I agree with you. He's too spineless to actually try to force himself on a woman. But you know that if, by some miracle, he found himself next to a sleeping woman he'd definitely try something.
