That math works out, but, I would suggest to you that he is not being genuine about the E7 money coming off the top, I would estimate that DSP made between $108K and $115K last year, and the $17K figure is his true total tax liability.

With the huge increase in standard deduction this year, and the change in business expenses that are allowed to be deducted, in addition to his business being a sole-proprietorship (pass-through), I bet dollars to donuts that he took the standard deduction... Many of my clients this year were shocked and disappointed in their returns, the % of AGI you need to beat the standard deduction is quite a hurdle.

There is always the chance that he is fraudulently claiming a larger percent of his home as business use, or any of the other numbers, it would shock me as much as if you told me the sun was going to come up tomorrow.

I had to go back and find exactly when but yea that figure was for Federal Income Tax not B&O.

Does anyone know (or know where to find) the amount that DSP claims he owed the state of Washington for unpaid B&O taxes (2014-2017)? Every time he references it, it's some phantom number that he doesn't know yet.

He never put an exact number on it. Only "less than $10k". Best guess is around $4000-5000. B&O tax is 1.5% of his gross income.

You know we were in a restaurant once and during the meal the waitress came and asked how it is. My mom had a slightly bad cooked steak and said "It's a bit bad". The waitress immediately brought a new one despite none of us complaining. Maybe, just maybe beinbg polite is more effective (of course it depends on the reastaurant and personel). I sperg out enough so I'll keep this short, I've had both situations, my family is cursed when we go out. One place all of us but my step sister's baby daddy's food kept coming out raw or wrong. His was fine. After the first few times we thought it was funny as anything. My dad felt horrible for the waiter who was getting frazzled by the whole thing, assured him he knew it wasn't his fault and tipped him generously. No one complained and at least the waiter went well above what was expected to fix it. It was funny, we still joke about it to this day.

Another time we got food that was literally raw. We told the waiter, waiter told the manager, manager said the cook said this one was fine but if you'd like we could take the stuff home and finish cooking it...no shit. That was just one of the many things that went wrong. My pops went full super karen on yelp. The manager called him offered him all sorts of gift cards and free meals if he took the review down. He didn't take anything basically pulled a "it's about sending a message" and took it down after 3 days. this too we still joke about.

Ya know thats the thing about PP's detractors, there's a part of the community that goes too far and actually gives him some justification for claiming how harrassed he is. A developer of Battlefield said he was "relieved" to get another month to work on the game and DSP says he's an idiot because now no one will care because Call of Duty comes out first.

it's been what, 3 years since he played SFV and still calls it a failure. The game got 2 extra seasons then planned, has it's own tournament series. Main Stage at EVO. Kept Ryu and Chun-li relevant enough to cross over into Fortnite and PowerRangers among other games.

but yes a total failure of a game, and that is what an echo chamber for 1 sounds like.

Thanks for the clarification. I was doing a bit of 'Back in Time' research and he claimed that he owed an extra $4k in federal taxes because of all the money he raised for his state back taxes emergency in 2017. For him to owe that much, he would have had to bring in about $10-12k in extra income... which means he should have had no problem paying off both the state back taxes and the extra federal taxes. His whole story makes zero sense.

My favorite example of this desperate need of his to be relevant was when he did a clickbait review a few years ago for KO Gaming of Homefront that got like 500k views. He got all puffed up talking about how 'viral' it went and, in fairness, he DID get a bump in subs to KO Gaming after the review which is the last, and pretty much only, time that I can think of where his content actually resulted in increased traffic. He got so up his ass about it though that he made an entirely new channel trailer that comes off as really desperate and embarrassing welcoming all the new subscribers.

The absolute best part of it though was when, in his long tradition of immediately squandering any new attention or positive bump in his business that he could maybe capitalize on if he wasn't so fucking lazy, he says IN THE CHANNEL TRAILER directed at all these new subs that he's gonna be 'taking some time off' lmaooooo. It's such a classic moment of DSP buffoonery. The first time in years that he's gotten that kind of attention on a video and the last time that he's gotten anywhere near a half million views, and the fucking FIRST thing he does is make a channel trailer to tell all those new subs 'peace out' and then takes a vacation!!
