My favorite example of this desperate need of his to be relevant was when he did a clickbait review a few years ago for KO Gaming of Homefront that got like 500k views. He got all puffed up talking about how 'viral' it went and, in fairness, he DID get a bump in subs to KO Gaming after the review which is the last, and pretty much only, time that I can think of where his content actually resulted in increased traffic. He got so up his ass about it though that he made an entirely new channel trailer that comes off as really desperate and embarrassing welcoming all the new subscribers.
The absolute best part of it though was when, in his long tradition of immediately squandering any new attention or positive bump in his business that he could maybe capitalize on if he wasn't so fucking lazy, he says IN THE CHANNEL TRAILER directed at all these new subs that he's gonna be 'taking some time off' lmaooooo. It's such a classic moment of DSP buffoonery. The first time in years that he's gotten that kind of attention on a video and the last time that he's gotten anywhere near a half million views, and the fucking FIRST thing he does is make a channel trailer to tell all those new subs 'peace out' and then takes a vacation!!
