Still can't get over how sterile Lady Rackets letter was. These are not the words of a person that is invested in helping her husband.

Have mercy... because he cooks food for his kids.
Don't put him in jail... because I need him to drive my kids around.
He's a good person... because he asked other people to donate to stuff.

I was surprised she didn't ask for clamency because he pays the netflix bill.

"Drivin muh KEEEEEEEEEDZ around" obviously ghosted by Nick. Even Nick can't come up with anything good to say about himself.

Dude hopped off the crack and wound up with the Destiny phenotype.
The PSI report just needed this image on a blank sheet of paper to give him the max. Weak, greasy homosexual, perverted cuck, no wonder his daughter bullied him Tony Montana style into ceding his coke stash.

This image is more enraging than the SCP one from the meme thread. Better get it into containment.

There's this thing in Minnesota criminal caselaw, IIRC, where it is legally improper to accept a plea deal out of a person who does not mean it. Something like that. I wonder would the Judge be remiss in his duties to not help out Mr. Rekieta and hold their plea agreement of no effect?

I dunno at this point the judge probably tired enough to deal with his bullshit and just gonna let him enjoy prison.

Interesting. The prosecutor argued that Rekieta "did rely on the fact that the State would not be requesting any executed jail time" during plea negotiations and recommended that the jail time be deferred "if the Court deems that additional jail time is warranted".

It appears that Rekieta is correct that the jail time was a "surprise".
It must have been recommended in the report because Rekieta presented himself so badly during the PSI.

THE COURT:...You've been on pre-trial release so I
want to have a baseline test so there's no, you
know, argument or indication that, you know, you
may have been positive for something, you know,
that occurred prior to sentencing, okay.
THE DEFENDANT: Yes, Your Honor.
THE COURT: Ms. Pierce, can you reach out
to probation just to indicate when that would be
available? You should contact probation after the
proceedings here today and they will instruct you
on that. If they instruct you to test today, you
need to test today, okay.
THE DEFENDANT: Yes, Your Honor.
Wanna bet he failed his "baseline" test?

Thank you so much, I am already laughing.
No, thank you all who helped me. And, of course to @Spergichu who initially asked me to get it for you all. Everyone of you who helped me (in any way) - this is a team effort. Thank you to everyone.
