You see it all the time in America too "he a gud boy, he dindu nothin'", etcetera. Make parents more accountable, for starters, and make it acceptable to discuss the actual negative effects of porn (for now, how it might lead to one becoming trans is taboo) and you should see certain problems become mitigated.

Lets consider it this way.

If a parent allowed their child to walk the mall, and they went down to the adult bookstore, the parent would in good faith expect the bookstore to keep the kids out. There wouldn't be explicit porn posters on the outside windows. The rest of the mall is fine.

This is the "porn sites should verify age" argument. We've been going over this one for a while.

But consider that instead of allowing their kids to walk the mall unsupervised, they let their kids go run free in Harlem or Chicago. Is it safe? On paper, yes, but there's a lot of places those kids can get to that they shouldn't. Industrial sites, gang heavy places, red light districts, places with heavy traffic. Maybe adults in the area report a few kids running around unsupervised, the cops arrive, pick them up, find their parents for them. Their parents are off fucking about and have no idea where their kids are or what they're doing. The parents get fined for neglect, and they learn not to do that again. You fucked each other and a baby came out, deal with it -- it's not our responsibility to make sure everywhere in the world is safe for an unsupervised 3-8 year old.

This is the "kids unsupervised on the internet is child neglect" argument. And I think I actually prefer that, if only because it means I have less chance of having to interact with some Gen Alpha 12 year old online during my day to day life. But boy howdy could you imagine the thermonuclear assmad if you suggested, even briefly, that whores should take responsibility for the children they shat out? That maybe they can't live lives of 24x7 hedonism? I'm not sure society is ready for that.

Slight different flavors. And yes, you find stale bread OR tortillas used in Migas, It's so homogonized now it really doesn't matter though.

For those not in the know, Massie didn't refuse to meet with Jewish constituents. He refused to meet with some clownish activist who wanted to drag him into a room and shout at him for sound bytes for the democrats to use against him, and Massie just told him to fuck off. Upon being told to fuck off the activist immediately started playing the Jewish Crocodile Tears card. "Buh buh buh, I'm one of god's chosen, you can't tell me no, you're a goyim! Oi vey, its annoda shoah!"

gonna throw this in here: the question of how much weaponized psychosexual abuse material to tolerate in return for liberty and free speech is one issue and it is extremely legitimately difficult to make this call.

what should not be difficult however is solving the situation where in the US, children have far too much access to the internet where that material is, but it is difficult because our culture is toxic for families.

there is a reason the political discouse is 99% about kids and porn and barely a peep about everything else bad about internet access and kids, and it should be obvious but in case it's not: there are very powerful corporate and government interests who want a screen in every kid's face as many hours of the day as possible. they want the access to attention for advertising purposes and they also want the flowing fountain of educational tax dollars.

porn and free speech is an ideal political issue for careerist politicans because it's not solveable and endlessly generative of upsetting shit under our current legal framework (like abortion before dobbs). actual functional political action: removing screens from k-5. bans on phones at school. return to neighborhood schools. public health campaigns about the importance of free play coupled with legislation clarifying children's freedom to be outside unsupervised. there's a bunch of stuff without touching the third rail of mothers working outside the home.

The majority of families can be trusted to parent appropriately in this area if society at large isn't actively undermining their ability to do so.

Someone posted earlier about the connection between porn and social media, and honestly of the two aspects social media is by far the most dangerous part of life in developed countries. Can there even be broad scale porn addictions without the social aspect? Isn't the whole psychology behind ethots, vtubers, discord channels, reddit, ect, being the social aspect is an inherent binding agent in positively encouraging such behavior?

Hell, this circles back to the tranny issue where trannies have to use social media, it's an inherent necessity in continuing conventionally antisocial behavior without being burnt out.

Social media is the gate to evil, to hyper socialization into areas of humanity that real world interactions severely discourage, and porn sickness is a symptom of this. We can't just deal with porn and expect the issues to go away, this social cancer will just continue to grow anyways.

I am forever thankful my parents kept me strictly off of social media as a kid, and I'm finding this is probably the biggest identifier between good vs bad parents. The wonders of growing up with a dedicated computer room in the house versus iphones is the lack of privacy to end up somewhere doing something you shouldn't. All I did was play Battlefront 2 and KOTOR. Best childhood.

it's not a good/bad binary. keeping your kid off social media until their brain is baked enough for it is extremely good super awesome parenting. you cannot expect everyone to do that.

like I said on the aella thread, everyone is responsible for personal hygeine, but if your city stops running the sewers, do you trust everyone around you to dig good latrines? your own personal latrine digging skills aren't going to save you.

this is a fundamental piece of the cultural toxicity towards families in the US. mainstream normie culture expects your kid to have social media. mainstream normie culture also tells you that your job as a parent is to personally resist mainstream normie culture.

a big part of the reason this insanity goes mostly unchallenged is that women fall for it. most mothers I know believe they are personally responsible for simultaneously protecting their kids from and preparing their kids for participation in a system they are constantly being told is fucked up but also necessary. men getting more involved in handson day to day parenting is ameliorating the situation some because men aren't neurotic and anxious and conscientious like women are.

I don't mean to be riding your ass about this, it's just that this attitude is devastating for fixing the problem. I think most of you are young men and you really dont' get how much internalized selfhatred and selfblame your typical american mother has over this shit. and it makes me angry and sad because they are beating themselves up over stuff that is being done to them on purpose.

Jerry Nadler or whatever Jewish congressman is caught following pages on Twitter that advocate that Christians are inferior people who should be genocided. He refuses to meet with anyone Christian, even for bills that have nothing to do with religion and directly affect people in his district. He refuses to meet with Christian clergy who minister to his constituents.

How would you feel in that case?
